Vanessa Hudgens held onto her hat on Thursday while shopping in West Hollywood, California.

The 26-year-old actress nearly lost her wide-brimmed floppy fedora to a strong breeze while enjoying some retail therapy.

The Spring Breakers star donned a white maxi dress with tribal designs as she stepped out in open-toed platform heels.

Vanessa had her long raven hair down under her tan fedora and accessorised with large hoop earrings.

She also was carrying a large tan and green Celine purse.

The High School Musical star later was spotted leaving a Los Angeles gym in a cropped tank-top and black leggings.
