Robert De Niro reveals shaved hairline in his first sighting as Bernie Madoff on the Manhattan set of HBO's Wizard of Lies

On Friday, Robert De Niro revealed his shaved hairline in the first sighting as Ponzi Schemer Bernie Madoff on the Manhattan set of HBO's The Wizard of Lies.

The 72-year-old acting legend even wore the same striped shirt as the 77-year-old convict, who's serving 150 years at North Carolina's Federal Correctional Institution Butner Medium.

The two-time Oscar winner signed on four years ago to play the Wall Street swindler, who tricked investors out of an estimated $65 billion.

De Niro was somberly suited up to reenact a trial scene outside New York's Federal Court.

It's been six years since Madoff plead guilty to 11 federal felonies - including securities fraud, wire fraud, mail fraud, money laundering, making false statements, perjury, theft from an employee benefit plan, and making false filings with the SEC.

Michelle Pfeiffer plays Bernie's wife Ruth in the HBO flick - airing next year - which is based on the 2012 Diana B. Henriques book.
