A penchant of experimenting with her hair in June she went granny chic with grey and just this week she tried out the theory that blondes have more fun.

But going back to black, Karrueche Tran was at her natural best on Wednesday as she attended the Tumbler and Tipsy by Michael Kuluva NYFW presentation hosted by KIA STYLE360.

Trading her platinum tresses, the 27-year-old's raven locks were a perfect match for her monochrome ensemble as she flashed her midriff in a PVC corset.

Taking to the red carpet, Karrueche looked as stylish as ever in a black and white striped duster coat teamed with matching high waisted wide-legged trousers.

Giving a glimpse of her taut stomach, Tran wore a bondage style corset which featured rose gold stud embellishments and a buckle, as she donned a thin black choker.

Adding height to her petite frame with a pair of pointed heels, the budding actress wore her hair in a sleek centre parting as kept her makeup minimal with the help of nude tones.

However it seems that NYFW was more than just an opportunity to sit in the FROW at some of the hottest shows as Karrueche took to Instagram to reveal she has some great upcoming projects.

The caption on the animated image she shared read: 'Just want to take a moment to thank God for blessing me in so many ways imaginable. I just left a meeting and almost cried when I got in the car.'

She continued: 'So many awesome things are happening. Dreams are coming true! I once thought I would never amount to anything and now here I am living my life! 

'Sorry I'm getting emo but I'm in such a good place and had to share. Energy is soooooo real'.

Meanwhile, Tran, who came to prominence during her relationship with R&B bad boy Chris Brown, has revealed that she no plans to get back with the singer.

Speaking to Ryan Seacrest she said: 'Us getting back together I can't say.

She told the radio host: 'I don't know what the future holds. As of right now, I'm just completely focused on myself. 

'I'm not trying to date anybody. I just want to figure out me. There's no drama between us. It's peaceful, it's cordial.'
