She's grown up in the spotlight so it was little wonder Mel B's eldest daughter Phoenix looked like a seasoned red-carpet goer as she attended an award ceremony in Los Angeles with her mother on Thursday night.

The former Scary Spice has clearly taught her well as the 16-year-old acted like a professional poser when the duo arrived at the Hollywood Palladium for VH1's 5th Annual Streamy Awards.

Mel, 40, and Phoenix were a colour co-ordinated dream as they stepped out in similarly stylish ensembles.

The ex-Nineties popstar flaunted her hour-glass figure in a baby pink pencil, skirt which stretched from her waist to her calves, exposing a glimpse of her slender legs.

Mel also flashed a hint of her busty cleavage in a white low-neck top which featured a bow fastening.

A pair of metallic court stilettos and a black purse-style clutch bag topped off her look.

Her afro hair was pinned into a tidy updo with a small front section fashioned into a side fringe.

Meanwhile, Phoenix showcased a dress sense that was mature beyond her tender 16 years in an all-white ensemble.

The teenager slipped into a pair of high-waisted tailored trousers which she paired with a skin-tight roll neck top.

She wore a pair of heeled sandals which exposed her perfectly painted white toenails while a black and gold box clutch bag provided a contrasting touch.

Phoenix's father is Dutch dancer Jimmy Gulzar whom her mother married in 1998 and divorced two years later. She has two step-sisters - Angel, eight, and Madison, four.

The pair's outing comes soon after Mel was forced to deny rumours of a fallout with ex-bandmate Victoria Beckham.

The Sun claimed the pair were 'at war' after Mel had branded the successful designer a 'snob' for 'snubbing' the Nineties pop group's tentative 20th anniversary reunion.

OK! Magazine repeated the allegations and published the story on their Twitter page, prompting Mel to hit back.

Rubbishing all rumours of a feud, she commented alongside the link to the story: 'Utter bulls**t wtf.'
