Jon Gosselin is setting the record straight about whether he mocked ex-wife Kate after she was dumped by her millionaire boyfriend Jeff Prescott, 52, for a 26-year-old blonde beauty this month.

On Thursday the DJ told Entertainment Tonight he did not take a jab at the 40-year-old Kate Plus 8 star on social media.

'The last thing I'm going to do is trash my children's mother,' the 38-year-old former reality fixture said. Together the two have eight children.

Jon was accused of putting a 'celebration hands' emoji on his private Facebook account.

'I have teenage kids now who are on social media,' he told ET. 'They read everything, and the last thing I'm going to do is trash their mother.' Twins Cara and Maddie turn 15 next month. (Sextuplets Alexis, Aaden, Colin, Hannah, Joel and Leah are 11).

Jon admitted he has two Facebook accounts, one is public and the other is private.

The former bad boy of the tabloids insisted he has not used either to make a statement about Kate's breakup.

Gosselin also said it was 'frustrating' to see 'impostors post the most ridiculous things.'

On Wednesday Entertainment Tonight reported Kate had been 'dumped' for a much younger beauty. 'Kate's devastated,' a friend told the show. 'She thought they had a special connection.'

Kate's rep did not return calls to DailyMail.com.

Trouble started in the beginning of the summer when Prescott started spending less time with the TLC star.

Gosselin became 'frustrated' that Prescott traveled so much. It was during one of his trips to Belarus that the Dreamstime founder met his new lady.

The mystery woman has been described by ET as a business major who is 'fluent in five languages' and has plans to launch her own makeup line.

Prescott and the young blonde have reportedly been seen together in Las Vegas and Hawaii.

Jeff didn't want his kids on this show: According to the report, the business man did not want his three children starring on Kate Plus 8

On Labor Day weekend the businessman got 'cold feet about filming Gosselin's reality show,' ET reported.

'He ended up canceling production plans just two days before the New York City shoot, after months of planning and preparation,' a source told the show.

One problem with appearing on her show is he didn't want his three children to have air time as he worried about the exposure.

This has been Kate's first serious boyfriend since divorcing Jon, now. The two were wed from 1999 to 2009. Jon has since moved on with childhood pal Colleen Conrad.

In May Kate and Jeff were seen having a romantic time in Pennsylvania. They were often seen in cozy restaurants in Pennsylvania.
