An honest little boy unwittingly ratted out his mom by telling a police officer that 'she was drunk' after she was pulled over for driving erratically.

Audrey B. McColm, 25, from Selma, was stopped by police in Indiana and asked if she had been drinking and driving - which she quickly denied.

But her little boy, who was seated in the back of the car, chimed in: 'Yes, you have, Mom.'

According to a Randolph County Sheriff's Department report McColm was left stumped by her little boy's admission.

Police then arrested her on Monday night on a preliminary charge of neglect of a dependent, The Detroit Free Press reports.

She was later released after posting bond at the Randolph County Jail.

A breath test showed that the mom was nearly three times over the legal limit for motorists - and her blood-alcohol content was 0.237 percent.

The sheriff's report also indicated that McColm's vehicle had nearly collided head-on with the off-duty officer's car.

Authorities were looking for her car when they found it parked outside a home in Indiana.

After being taken to jail, she allegedly asked officers to 'shoot her in the head' and for a time she refused to put on a jail jump suit after her own clothing had been removed.
