Ever since she tied the knot with Justin Timberlake in 2012, Jessica Biel has taken it pretty easy, preferring to spend time with her baby rather than running from movie set to movie set.

And on Friday the 33-year-old actress appeared as relaxed as ever when taking her pit bull Tina to the vet in Los Angeles.

The 7th Heaven alum looked like a cool customer in a low-cut blue maxi dress that appeared as comfortable as it did stylish.

The beauty's hair was pulled back into a top knot and she has on minimal makeup. Dainty gold jewelry added shimmer, and the star held onto a bottle of Smart Water, which Jennifer Aniston promotes.

Jessica Biel gave birth just months ago and she's already back to looking fit and trim. The 7th Heaven actress took her Pitbull to the vet wearing a blue floral print maxi dress and a pair of Soludos espadrilles.

Earlier this week Biel admitted she knows 'shockingly' little about how the female body works.

To that end, the cover girl is developing a series of sex education videos explaining contraception, menstruation and everything in between.

In an interview with Glamour Magazine, the actress admitted that when she and husband Justin Timberlake decided to try for a baby two years ago, she knew the first step was coming off birth control - but after that she was a little clueless.

The love of her life? The Total Recall actress has had her pit bull Tina for many years as has often been seen taking the canine on power walks

'Now what happens?' she recalled wondering. 'I've been on the Pill for so long; how hard will it be to get pregnant?'

She suddenly realised she was completely ignorant of her own menstrual cycle, and didn't know when she was supposed to have sex if she wanted to conceive, or if she didn't.

'Suddenly I realized I really didn't know what's going on inside my own body,' the 7th Heaven star said. 'It was shocking.'

Biel has teamed up Saundra Pelletier, founder of the nonprofit health care organization WomanCare Global, to produce a series of sex education videos aimed at enlightening younger -and older - girls on a subjects that are somehow still considered taboo.

'More than half of our nation's pregnancies are unplanned, and just 22 states require public schools to teach sex education,' Pelletier said. 'Jessica and I realized we can help change this.'
