Perrie Edwards has revealed how she perfects that polished pop star look with her first ever makeup tutorial video.

The Little Mix singer, who recently broke up with fiancé and former One Direction star Zayn Malik, has followed in the footsteps of Kylie Jenner - who also debuted her beauty vlog earlier this week - sharing her top tips with fans.

In the video Perrie, 22, applies her makeup with absolute precision using a range of products, from brands including Mac and Rimmel, to the beat of Aerosmith’s Love In An Elevator.

Little Mix's Perrie Edwards has debuted her makeup secrets in a new beauty video on YouTube

The range of products used by Perrie in her video, which include a MAC bronzer and a Rimmel mascara

The South Shields born star divulges the secrets behind her glamorous look in three parts: ‘Part One: Foundation and Concealer and Brows, Contour and Blush’, ‘Part Two: Eyeshadow and Mascara’ and ‘Part Three: Lips’.

She opens with a shot of the products she intends to use including: A MAC bronzer, foundation, concealer, eyeshadows and lip pencil, plus a Rimmel mascara and an unidentified brand of lipstick and brow pallet.

In part one the Little Mix singer smooths on her foundation with a brush, then tackles her under eyes with a concealer. She also adds some colour to her face and accentuates her cheekbones with bronzer.

The pop star is a big fan of makeup and vamps up her look to complement her stunning red carpet ensembles

In Part Two she applies a heavy layer of rusty red eyeshadow from MAC, which she accompanies with high street brand, Rimmel Scandal Eyes mascara.

She then moves onto achieving the perfect pout by applying MAC lip liner in 'Spice' shade and a brown lipstick, before debuting the finished look to the camera.

In the final shot Perrie appears to have also applied some false eyelashes to complete her flawless look.

She pouts in a New York Yankees baseball cap and a hoodie to show off her hard work, a look which her fans can now achieve themselves by following the beauty video.

In a slightly different approach to Perrie, Kylie Jenner has also debuted her makeup secrets to the world in a video which sees the reality star chatting casually to camera.

Perrie often opts for a bold look by using false eyelashes and dark eyeshadows to accentuate her blue eyes

The beauty aficionado has shared her first-ever makeup tutorial from her brand new website so fans can emulate her look.

Writing about the video, which falls under the 'Kylie Glam' section of her site, the reality TV star says: 'I only turn 18 once! And for my party, I wanted a super sexy look.

‘Check out how my makeup artist Hrush Achemyan made me look like a total bombshell on my birthday.'

Achemyan primes Kylie's eyes using Laura Mercier and Anastasia Beverly Hills shadows.

Next, she uses black eyeshadow as an eyeliner drawing it along the line of scotch tape, which she then removes to leave a precise feline flick.

'That is so dope,' muses Kylie, who keeps busy by replying to emails on her phone about her new fashion range with sister Kendall.

Her makeup artist Hrush begins by taking two pieces of scotch tape, focusses on the arch of her eyebrow, holds it diagonally and then tapes it under Kylie's lower lash line. This, she demonstrates, helps her create the perfect feline flick

For Kylie's skin, Hrush explains that she wants to create a glowy, bronzy effect so she takes a beauty blender and uses Koh Gen Doh illuminator on the star's cheekbones, the tip of her nose and cupid's bow.

'Is this strobing?' asks Kylie. 'It sure is,' says Hrush as she uses Cover FX Custom Drops to blend Kylie's foundation, which she applies in circular motions.

Speaking to the New York Times, she said: 'If I'm going to see people, I won't wear heavy makeup. It's not attractive on me.

'When you see those pictures on my Instagram, they are usually for when I'm doing a photo shoot or an interview. Every time I get my makeup professionally done, I take a photo.'
