Michelle Keegan shows off her trim figure in a chic yet understated black lattice dress as she attends star-studded catwalk show

With years of red carpet experience behind her, she's one woman who knows how to pick an outfit.

And Michelle Keegan managed to pull out all the stops in a chic black lattice dress as she attended the Catwalk to Cosmopolitan Catwalk Show during the Cosmopolitan #Fashfest week.

Strutting her stuff on the red carpet at the event on Thursday evening, at London's Battersea Evolution, the 28-year-old certainly wowed when it came to making a fashionable impact.

The former Coronation Street beauty donned a mid-length black dress which featured an open lattice-style overlay.

Cinched-in at her tiny waistline, it was a truly flattering fit for the actress, who also flashed her enviable tanned legs as she posed on the red carpet, her hands nonchalantly in her pockets.

Adding a contrast to her outfit, the clothing designer further highlighted her toned pins with a pair of strappy beige heels.

With her glossy brunette tresses worn loose and in a simple style, Michelle's poker-straight locks perfectly complimented her understated yet chic look.

Applying a flesh tone pallette of make-up the pretty brunette highlighted her naturally pretty looks with a flash of rouge, mascara and berry lipstick.

Joining the actress at the fashion bash, but keeping a low-profile, was her reality TV star husband Mark Wright.

But while a broken foot has not hampered the former TOWIE star's ability to dote on his wife - whom he married earlier this year - he stayed clear of the limelight on the red carpet.

Wearing a Parka jacket, a turtle neck, black jeans and a single brogue alongside his foot cast, the TV presenter cut a casual but suave figure. 

Also making a head-turning appearance on the red carpet at the event was former Made In Chelsea and health advocate Millie Mackintosh, who flaunted her fantastic legs in a quirky little black dress.

The leggy 26-year-old - who is married to rapper Professor Green - looked the perfect combination of cute, sexy and ladylike as she posed on the red carpet at the star-studded event.

Her tiny thigh-skimming dress had a distinct Wednesday Addams vibe - snug and black with long lace sleeves, and a white Peter Pan collar.

But instead of the garment leaning towards the Halloween side of things, Millie cut a decidedly alluring figure, thanks to the super-short skirt, the Broderie Anglaise overlay and the racy keyhole design over her chest.

The fitness fanatic and former Made In Chelsea star completed her eye-catching monochrome look with a pair of towering platform heels in matching black, elongating her endless legs even more.

The results of her relentless training regime, healthy diet and good genes were well and truly on show, the LBD hugging her slender curves perfectly.

Millie - who attended the fashionable soiree by herself, without husband her chart-topper husband - added a girlish touch to her eveningwear, her honey blonde locks half tied up into a high ponytail, the rest of her hair falling around her shoulders in ringlets.

And, as ever, her skin was naturally aglow, and her make-up was minimal, with just enough kohl around her eyes to make them stand out.

Millie and her man, who she tied the knot with two years ago, have been making more and more appearances together of late, after rumours abounded about trouble in their relationship.

But they have been putting on loved-up display after loved-up display, and certainly appear stronger than ever, despite the rapper's recent admission that he feels he's too old to start a family.

The musician - real name Stephen Manderson - told the Daily Star: 'People used to get married at 20 and have a baby at 21.

'That's better than leaving it too late like now.'

Altogether now! Thursday night's event saw Abbey appear for the first time alongside the new judging line-up for the revived Britain's Next Top Model series - (L-R) Hilary Alexander OBE, Nicky Johnston and Paul Sculfor

The hard work's paid off! Newly-slimline Gemma Collins worked a dark and glamorous look for the evening, teaming a bra-flashing maroon sheer shirt with a pencil skirt and heels

Beauty win: The 34-year-old ex-TOWIE star wore her bright blonde locks in a sleek low ponytail, while the deep red shade on her lips flattered her skintone

But if Millie was at all concerned about her spouse's recent comments, she didn't show it as she continued to pose up a storm on the red carpet alone, and alongside stunning Australian model Erin McNaught. 

Also at the stylish event were the likes of Abbey Clancy,  Gemma Collins and Jameela Jamil, each of them putting on a brilliant red carpet display. 

Abbey, 29, went for a head-to-toe black look, her slender, model figure looking fantastic in a satin jumpsuit with a generously plunging cleavage, flared trousers and a chic cape-style blazer over the top.

The mother-of-two - who welcomed her second child with husband Peter Crouch just three months ago - finished her classy aesthetic with her blonde locks worn long and loose in a straight style, and her eyes line with a catlike eyeliner flick.

The beauty was pictured for the first time alongside the all-new Britain's Next Top Model judging line-up: Paul Sculfor, Hilary Alexander OBE and Nicky Johnston.

She rose to fame when she took part in the second series of the modelling contest in 2006 and now Abbey is going to be on the panel for the newly-revived show on Lifetime in early 2016.

Ex-TOWIE star Gemma, meanwhile, was brimming with confidence as she posed on the red carpet, showing off her notably slimmer frame.

The bubbly blonde, 34, recently lost an impressive three stone in weight in just a month after embarking on a strict juice diet and exercise regime, and it certainly paid off.

All white on the night: Erin - the wife of rapper Example - showed off her model figure in the white dress, complete with cut-outs over her waist and shoulders

Gemma worked a slightly racy look as she flashed her bra under a sheer maroon top with a flowing asymmetric hemline and long sleeves.

She teamed her lovely top with a slim-fitting black pencil skirt and red heels with a lace-up ankle strap.

Finishing her look with a sleek low ponytail and a flattering deep red shade on her lips, it's fair to say the former I'm A Celebrity contestant looked better than she has done in a long time. 

Made In Chelsea co-stars Lucy Watson and Stephanie Pratt were also in attendance, each of them rocking colourful and fashion-forward looks while posing together on the red carpet.

Lucy, 25, dazzled in a patterned turquoise mini dress with a sweet black pussybow tied around her neck.

Quirky: Fashion blogger and style star Bip Ling worked her trademark unique look, adding colourful and unusual accessories to an otherwise simple black playsuit

And Stephanie, 29, flaunted her impeccable figure in a super-skintight orange mini skirt and matching crop-top combination.  

Presenter and Cosmopolitan columnist Jameela worked an almost dangerously tiny black minidress with a chunky belt, while singer Dionne Bromfeld went for a racier look in a tiny leather skirt, knee-high boots and a scallop-edged crop top.

Model Erin - who is married to British rapper Example - meanwhile was a true stunner in a slinky white dress with cut-out details on her slim waistline and her shoulders 

Cosmopolitan magazine's five-day FashFest promises to bring fans of the magazine -  and lovers of all things sartorial - a sneak peek into the publication, the fashion industry and upcoming trends to keep an eye on.

And Thursday's event was one of the highlights of the week, with stars and guests being treated to a high-street fashion show and afterparty.
