James faces the same charges.

According to TMZ, Ross allegedly pistol-whipped a man who was doing work at one of his homes after the pair got into a fight.

He was charged with kidnapping after he allegedly stopped the worker from leaving the house.

Joyner said further details of the charges would have to come from Fayette County authorities, who weren't immediately available early Wednesday.

It comes just two weeks after he was arrested for possessing marijuana.

Police allegedly found several marijuana joints in his Bentley.

It follows a number of brushed with the law throughout his career. He was busted for possession of weed in Miami in 2008, and in Louisiana in 2011; and arrested again in North Carolina in 2014 for failing to appear in court over the previous charge.

Ross, who founded the Maybach Music Group, purchased the home after previous owner Evander Holyfied had to sell it to a bank.

The musician bought it at a public auction as part of a foreclosure for $7.5million in 2012. He is said to have spent $5.8million on renovations and upgrades.

The enormous 54,000 square-foot mansion sits on 235 acres and is the largest single family home in the state of Georgia.

Located outside of Atlanta, the compound features 109 rooms, including 12 bedrooms and 21 bathrooms.

Other amenities include a bowling alley, home theater and a 350,000 gallon swimming pool.

Ross will be used to his surroundings in jail, as he used to work in one.

From December 1995 to June 1995 he worked as a correctional officer in Florida, a fact he tried to deny when it first emerged later in his career.

His attempts to hide his former ties to the law are unsurprising, considering he named his stage persona after convicted California drug trafficker 'Freeway' Rick Ross, who has tried to sue the rapper in the past.
