The new power suit? Ralph Lauren sends leather jackets and pants down the runway at New York Fashion Week

Ralph Lauren turned a classic on its head at New York Fashion Week on Thursday morning.

The designer, 75, crafted tailored suits, pants and jackets out of buttery leather for his spring/summer 2016 collection, which he filled in with all-white looks, and classic navy. It was the French Riviera meets Paris in springtime.

Nautical accessories topped off the collection, with models wearing heels and carrying bags embroidered with scenery from Cannes.
