She's currently riding high as the cover girl of Vogue magazine for the second time.

And Lupita Nyong'o showed exactly why she is the darling of the prestigious fashion magazine, as she displayed her impressive sartorial style in a plunging catsuit on Friday in NYC.

The Oscar winner, 32, showed off her cleavage in the tailored and belted one piece, which clung in all the right places as she departed after appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The Mexican-Kenyan beauty, who rose to fame after stealing the show - and an Academy Award - in 12 Years A Slave in 2014, covered her eyes in on-trend round framed sunglasses.

She rocked a more groomed hair style than recently, where she's been seen with long braids as well as longer natural curls, which showed off her flawless and glowing skin.

The Star Wars: The Force Awakens star just added a slick of red gloss to her lips - letting her fresh complexion and impressive bone structure speak for itself in minimal make-up.

The beauty's metallic heels were just visible under her trouser leg, and she carried a box-style dark blue bag.

Backstage before the show, she shared an Instagram snap with her 1.8 million followers, holding up a toy storm trooper to the green room screen.

She captioned the playful shot: '#Thunder and I hit up the @ColbertLateShow to talk about #EclipsedPlay coming soon to the @publictheaterny and some sillier things that will be seen and not mentioned. Catch it tonight at 11:35pm EST. #forcefriday #stormtrooper'

The exotic beauty wasn't always embraced explained to Vogue that her looks weren't always embraced and she was told her skin was 'too dark' for her to be on TV during her teen years auditioning in Nairobi.

'No. It didn't ring true. I just thought, I need to find another way,' the Brooklyn-based beauty told the publication, who's a member of one of the darkest-skinned African tribes - Luo.

She explained that the discrimination continued while the actress attended Massachusetts' Hampshire College at age 20.

'I realized that my skin color was making some people see me differently,' she recalled.

'As Africans, we don't grow up with a racial identity. We grow up with cultural and ethnic identity before racial identity. I never used the word black as a child. It was never a thing. When was I ever discussing black? Why?' she added.

Lupita has been single since splitting with rapper K'naan late last year, but told Vogue that her mother Dorothy is already pressuring her to have children.

'When I was back in Kenya this past week, I would be driving along with my mother and she would say, 'That's a nice school for children' and look at me like...,' joked the WildAid ambassador, raising her eyebrows.

'But I think that will all be determined when I have that moment. When I have that man...I live alone [in Brooklyn]. I lie quite low. I take the subway. I do yoga. I meditate.' she concluded to the magazine.

The Yale School of Drama grad will next head up two major films for Disney, Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens and The Jungle Book.

In J. J. Abrams' sci-fi flick, Lupita was motion-captured with over '168 dots' for four months to create the CGI character, Pirate Maz Kanata.

And in Jon Favreau's live-action/CG hybrid remake, Nyong'o provided the voice of the wolf Rakcha that adopts Mowgli (Neel Sethi).

But first, Lupita will play the fourth wife of a Liberian warlord in the off-Broadway drama Eclipsed, which begins previews September 29 at the Public Theater's LuEsther Theater.

It was penned by Zimbabwean-American playwright Danai Gurira, who's best known as the katana-wielding warrior Michonne on AMC's The Walking Dead.
