Nicci Taylor (pictured main, and top and bottom right and left) sold her home in the Wirral and all her possessions to buy a campervan and set off on a to find love. She met James Pollard (main and bottom right), a Lord of the Manor in Scotland, and love blossomed. Within four days he had asked her to stay forever, uttering the words that every singleton living in a campervan wants to hear: 'What's mine is yours.'
Four out of five migrants are NOT from Syria: EU figures expose the 'lie' that the majority of refugees are fleeing war zone
The EU logged 213,000 arrivals in April, May and June but only 44,000 of them were fleeing the Syrian civil war. Campaigners and left-wing MPs have suggested the vast majority of migrants are from the war-torn state, accusing the Government of doing too little to help them. 'This exposes the lie peddled in some quarters that vast numbers of those reaching Europe are from Syria,' said David Davies, Tory MP for Monmouth. 'Most people who are escaping the war will go to camps in Lebanon or Jordan.

Cherie v Mrs Clooney: It's the catfight of the century. One lawyer's charging a fortune to represent a despot. The other, for no pay, is battling to free a jailed hero. No prizes for guessing who's on which side!
Amal Clooney and Cherie Blair are going head-to-head in the case of jailed ex-president of the Maldives, Mohamed Nasheed - the country's first democratically-elected president. Amnesty called his 2012 imprisonment a 'travesty of justice'. Mrs Clooney has flown to the Maldives to work pro-bono to secure Nasheed's freedom, but Cherie's London-based legal firm Omnia Strategy has taken the side of the Maldivian government.
Kate rides a rugby rollercoaster: Royals join 82,000 fans at 'Fortress Twickenham' as England begin quest for World Cup glory against Fiji... but it was a tense night for the Duchess and Harry
Thousands of fans were on the edges of their seats at Twickenham tonight as they watched England triumph over Fiji in the 2015 Rugby World Cup. And the Duchess of Cambridge was no different. Dressed in a smart blue coat, the mother of two was remarkably animated (top left and top right) as she watched the tournament's opening game. At one point, she leaned back against her husband (bottom left) - who was viewing the game through a pair of black-framed glasses - with her mouth wide open. She later broke into a smile and applauded enthusiastically (bottom right) as England's Mike Brown scored the team's first try at Twickenham Stadium in London. Although England were made to work tirelessly against the underdogs, they managed to clinch their 35-11 victory with a late flourish.
How Kate Winslet and I are three different dress sizes at once: Actress' body shape varies dramatically depending on the angle you look at her, says JULIA LAWRENCE
There were some very opposing views of actress Kate Winslet at the Toronto Film Festival this week. On Monday night it was not her acting that divided opinion, but her rather splendid figure, clad in a Badgley Mischka figure-hugging ball gown, as those on two sides of the catwalk were afforded a completely different Kate to the gawpers across the way. Kate, like me, seems to have one of those bodies that appears to occupy three parts of the dress-size spectrum: a size 12 from the front (left), a size 10 from the side (centre) and a size 14 from behind (right), writes JULIA LAWRENCE.
No laughing matter! Neighbours outraged over comedian Michael McIntyre's plans for 'extension of an extension of an extension'
Comedian Michael McIntyre, 39, has infuriated his neighbours in London's leafy Hampstead with proposals for 'destructive' changes to his £5.6million family home. The father of two wants to enclose the first-floor terrace, making it part of his study, and turn the roof of the extension into a new terrace. Since submitting the proposals in July, McIntrye has added French doors along with a Juliet balcony and sash windows to the plans. McIntyre lives in the semi-detached house with wife Kitty, 39, and their children, Lucas, ten, and Oscar, eight.
EXCLUSIVE: British mother of four-year-old girl who was thrown off a California cliff to her death by her FATHER finally confronts her monster ex-husband in court - and opens up about her 15-year ordeal
Cameron Brown was sentenced to life without parole today for first degree murder of his daughter Lauren Key. He threw her off a 120ft cliff because, it was argued, the former baggage handler didn't want to pay her mother $1,000 a month in child support. Lauren's mother, Sarah Key-Marer, broke down in tears as she told the court 'We are all so broken without her. Mr Brown - you will never take her memory from us,' she said directly to the murderer. She tells Daily Mail Online how she has coped with the pain of the past 15-year nightmare in an exclusive interview. 'I had such a bad feeling,' says Sarah of the day Brown had visitation. Brown always denied killing his daughter - but after three trials he was finally found guilty of the callous murder in May.
Nick: Victim or fantasist? Rape. Torture. Murders. These were the extraordinary claims made by one man against leading Establishment figures. Police called his story 'credible and true' but there's not a shred of evidence to back his allegations
A special investigation looks into what is known about 'Nick' (pictured left), his connections to new deputy Labour leader Tom Watson, and suspicions about his VIP Westminster paedophile ring claims. One of the perpetrators he named was former Prime Minister Edward Heath (bottom right). Another was ex-Home Secretary Leon Brittan (top right). A third was Harvey Proctor (right, centre), once a Tory MP. But there are terrible ambiguities surrounding Nick's case that could now deter victims from coming forward and also damage trust in the forthcoming judge-led inquiry into historic allegations of child abuse. Senior officers at Scotland Yard are expected to face a grilling over the fiasco, which led to a murder investigation being opened without any bodies and without anyone knowing who it was that had actually been murdered.

Rough justice! We reveal how killers and paedophiles are given softer sentences than jailed Marine who fought for his country
Research by the Daily Mail shows that dozens of killers, rapists and violent attackers are escaping with much lower sentences than that of Royal Marine Alexander Blackman (pictured). A court martial convicted the sergeant of murder after he shot a Taliban insurgent who was already fatally wounded. Marine Blackman (left) was given life for a 'moment of madness' in battle but, clockwise from top left, Lewis Gill, 21, John Burton, 72, Stuart Walker, 30, Neil Hotchkiss, 33, Michael Grieves and Steve Clark all received lesser sentences in the civilian courts despite committing appalling crimes.
A (not so) humble home on London's Billionaires Row: Incredible 10-bedroom mansion with the Ecclestones and Mittals as neighbours goes on the market for a whopping £85million
Number 15A Kensington Palace Gardens, on the road dubbed Billionaires Row, was made available by the Crown Estate after a luxury makeover. The property is said to have been discreetly marketed. The mansion boasts 10 bedrooms, one pictured bottom-right, a massive dining room with a dinner table for 22 people, bottom-left, and a spa and swimming pool area in the basement, top-right.
You'll escape over my dead body! Man dressed as Grim Reaper chased by security guards as he protested against an arms fair
The man, in a hooded black robe and carrying a scythe, was one of a group hoping to disrupt the Defence and Security Equipment International exhibition at the ExCeL centre in London's Docklands. But as he lurked outside attempting to deter visitors with his ominous presence, he was given the runaround by guards. In the end, it appeared that the reaper himself had run out of time - as he tripped over his own robe and was carried away. The exhibition, which ended yesterday, is billed as the world's biggest arms fair. It takes place every two years, with 1,500 exhibitors selling to an estimated 32,000 visitors from 121 countries.
Is YOUR house being targeted by gangs of burglars? The signs criminals use to alert each other to homes that are worth robbing - and those that aren't
Trading standards chiefs have released images of the sinister 'tags' that criminal gangs are using to tell other would-be burglars how best to rob homes, and who to target. The symbols are used up and down the country by burglars, with similar instances reported in Devon, Yorkshire and West Lanarkshire, Scotland.

At the lower end, the plush apartments start at £1.32million for a two-bedroom abode, but the penthouses are on sale for up to £21.5million.

Piled 12ft high, the ever growing mass of rubber dinghies and life jackets abandoned on Lesbos by migrants who have risked crossing the Mediterranean by boat
Photographs have emerged of a more than 12ft high mountain of dinghies and life-jackets, left abandoned on the Greek island of Lesbos, by migrants and refugees entering Europe. Tens of thousands of people have already made the perilous crossing from Turkey to the southern Greek islands this summer, but the route is also one of the most deadly ways to reach Europe.
