And it seems that actress Drew Barrymore, 40, meant every word as she cosied up to Toni Collette, 42, as the pair attended the Miss You Already European premiere in London's Leicester Square on Thursday evening.

Posing for photos at Vue West End cinema in the capital, the co-stars put on a friendly display as they were seen in fits of giggles on the red carpet.

However, Toni's free-spirited character Milly is abruptly faced with a cancer diagnosis, while Drew's character Jess finally finds herself pregnant after various attempts.

Speaking about why she was keen to take on the role of Jess, Drew admitted during an interview on Lorraine it was purely down to the fact she would be working alongside Toni.

She said: 'I came here to London to be with you. I love you and believe in you and I wanted you to know that I literally have your back with this.'

Despite the emotional plot, Toni maintained the film's underlying message is a positive one.
