SEBASTIAN SHAKESPEARE: Geldof girl slams 'sick Facebook stalkers'

Fifteen years after television presenter Paula Yates tragically died of a heroin overdose aged 41, her eldest daughter has hit out at members of the public who try to befriend her online on the anniversary of her mother’s untimely demise.

In an extraordinary plea, public relations professional Fifi, 32-year-old daughter of Bob Geldof, posted this proclamation on Facebook: ‘I will say it once and once only — and I’m making it public so you can all see it and you have zero excuse to do it again.

‘Every year on this date, the eve of the anniversary of our mother’s death, I get a mad influx of strangers requesting an FB “friendship”.

‘If you don’t actually know me, please don’t bother trying to add me.

Especially for such disgustingly suspect reasons given the timing,’ continued Fifi, who is engaged to ‘sand artist’ Andrew Robertson.

‘My having a well-known surname and you being nosy isn’t valid reason for us to be cyber-friends — quite frankly, it’s f***ing weird/sick/insensitive/unkind behaviour and I’m totally bored of it.’

Fifi’s younger sister Pixie, 25, and half-sister Tiger Lily, 19, from Paula’s relationship to the late INXS singer Michael Hutchence, also have accounts on the network, although both use pseudonyms.

Her sister Peaches, who died last April, aged 25, of a heroin overdose, was also a prolific user of social media.

Last September, publicity-shy Fifi revealed she suffered from depression and battled drugs and alcohol following her mother’s death.

‘It was very, very hard for a long time.

I got through my A-levels and absolutely lost my s*** for about a year,’ she recalled.

‘There was a lot of drinking and drug-taking. I was a silly, hurt, stupid, reckless teenager.’

Having come under fire from fans over the skinny models she used for her catwalk show in New York this week, Victoria Beckham has now been taken to task by the daughter of ex Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson.

Emily Clarkson says former Posh Spice should not have hired Peyton Knight, the 17-year-old model who provoked much of the criticism.

‘I was shocked and angry that she had allowed this to happen,’ says aspiring photographer and blogger Em, 21. ‘By hiring the 17-year-old, Victoria is not doing anything “legally” wrong; morally, I think, she’s doing something terrible.

‘Knight has been a model since the age of just 11, which means that this life is all she has ever known. Not only will she be subject to the normal stresses of teenage life, but by being thrown into this unforgiving spotlight she is facing more pressure than should ever be put onto a teenage girl.’

The Beeb's new number one fan? Kim Jong-Un!

BBC bosses may have announced plans to expand the World Service to North Korea, but it appears Radio 1 is already there.

Statistics analysed by Radio 1 chiefs show that one person in North Korea has been viewing the station’s YouTube channel with increasing regularity.

Favourite performers of the solitary fan include include Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and presenter Nick Grimshaw interviewing Harry Potter star Emma Watson.

‘The viewer can only be dictator Kim Jong-Un,’ says my man at the Corporation, as North Koreans are banned from receiving foreign media by the tubby tyrant. However, Kim is known to be a fan of Western pop culture, with a particular penchant for kung-fu films starring Jackie Chan.

That is when he’s not ordering the execution of his relations . . .

Downton Abbey actress Lily James has since found fame in Hollywood as Cinderella, but it was not all plain sailing on the set of the costume drama. Her former co-star Kevin Doyle reveals she had to improvise for one dinner scene, when she hadn’t been given a plate. ‘Someone had forgotten to put a plate down for her,’ he says. ‘But she still served the food for herself onto the table cloth. She thought “What do I do? Oh, I have got to do it!” ’

Ronnie Wood's ex picks Daisy to date her son

Model Daisy Lowe stayed single for three years since splitting from Doctor Who star Matt Smith, but the buxom brunette is now officially off the market again as she is dating Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood’s son Tyrone, 32.

‘Ty is dating Daisy,’ his mum Jo Wood, Ronnie’s ex, tells me at the launch of make-up artist Gary Cockerill’s book Simply Glamorous.

‘It’s early days; they’ve only been dating for a few weeks.

Early days: Daisy Lowe, right, is now officially off the market and is dating Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood's son Tyrone, 32, left

‘Last year I said to Ty, “Ty, how about Daisy, eh?” and he goes, “No I bet she wouldn’t go out with me.” Then the other day we bumped into Grimmy [Nick Grimshaw] at a Japanese restaurant with Daisy and I said, “Come back to my house for a drink!” And there you go.’

Jo adds Daisy, the 26-year-old daughter of Pearl Lowe and Bush singer Gavin Rossdale, has made quite the impression.

‘Daisy is absolutely lovely and she and Ty have a lot in common, including a slightly dysfunctional upbringing.’

How romantic.
