Paloma Faith oozes glamour as she steals the show in gorgeous red mini-dress at Miss You Already European premiere

It was a night dedicated to a big Hollywood movie, and its two leading stars.

But Paloma Faith did her best to upstage the likes of Drew Barrymore and Toni Collette as she rocked the red carpet at the European premiere for their new film Miss You Already on Thursday.

The singer and new star of BBC's The Voice looked amazing in a tiny vintage-effect dress as she arrived at London's Leicester Square for the big event.

The 34-year-old, who usually opts for a more eye-catching and controversial look, played it relatively safe in an ornate red mini-dress that made a real show of her lean, toned legs.

Complete with a thick and almost shiny brocade design, the oriental-inspired dress included a high neckline and stiff mid-length sleeves, while the waist was lightly cinched in to accentuate her natural slim curves.

The deep red shade was a perfect match for the Stone Cold Sober hitmaker's pale strawberry blonde locks, which were expertly styled into a delicate plait running over the top of her head, tendrils of hair framing her face.

She kept the rest of her ensemble understated for her turn on the unique purple carpet at the premiere, wearing a pair of cool black cut-out heels to add height to her frame and carrying a small black and metallic box clutch bag.

As ever, Paloma put the most effort into her beauty look, her eyebrows heavily defined and her lips painted a gorgeous shade of scarlet, the ideal shade to go along with the classic yet modern aesthetic she pulled off with ease.

Paloma gladly posed for the cameras while at the premiere, held at the West End's Vue cinema, along with the likes of Drew and Toni, who put on a rather sweet and friendly display as they lapped up the attention.

However, not wanting to waste such a fantastic outfit on just one event, Paloma later took herself and her lovely red mini dress to Lan Nguyen-Grealis: Art & Makeup book launch party at Freemasons' Hall near to the premiere's location.

Singer and TV star Paloma was clearly enjoying a night of socialising, as she has been rather busy of late.

The London-born beauty - who rose to fame in 2009 with the release of her debut album Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful? - was recently revealed as the new face of Agent Provocateur, the lingerie giant she used to work for in her younger days.

And, with the fifth series of The Voice UK kicking off in January, she's busy preparing for her huge new prime-time role.

Paloma is making up the new line-up on the BBC talent show, which still includes previous coaches Will.i.am and Ricky Wilson - another new face is Boy George.

Speaking to Glamour magazine about what sort of coach she thinks she'll be, she said: 'I'm quite good at motivating what's already there and I think making people feel confident, but also not lying for them.

'I don't want to be false. I think it's really important that you don't just say someone's amazing if they're not, because they might be able to be amazing if you just help them and give them some pointers so I think I'm going to be quite realistic. But I'm not unkind with it.

'I'm into positive criticism,' she added.
