'There's a treasure chest of these!': Hugh Jackman thrills fans with 'sensationally embarrassing' behind-the-scenes bloopers from upcoming film Pan

This week, he shared a video to Instagram dancing and rehearsing for his upcoming show, Broadway to Oz.

And on Friday Australian actor Hugh Jackman continued to thrill his fans, this time posting a video of bloopers from his new flick he's been busy promoting, Pan.

In the clip, the 46-year-old can be seen dressed in character as Blackbeard and trying to cut through a curtain with his sword, but fails miserably.

Attempting to slash the curtain, Hugh draws laughter from crew as it takes him two goes to rip the material. 

Hugh then proceeds to pull the sheet apart with his hands and step through, stifling laughter as he went. 

He can be seen with his elaborate pirate dress and Blackbeard's trademark curly mustache.

He thanked the director of the film, Joe Wright in his post caption, writing:  'Was gifted with bloopers from the making of @panmovie.'

'There's a treasure chest of these sensationally embarrassing moments! Joe Wright you are genius! #PanMovie #DiscoverYourNeverland.'

The film also stars the likes of Rooney Mara, Cara Deleingne, and Amanda Seyfried, and follows the story line of Peter Pan in Neverland.

Hugh, who is originally from Sydney but is now based in New York, this week shared with his more than 3.2 million followers, a video of himself tap dancing for Broadway to Oz.

Working up a sweat, he can be seen with Warren Carlyle, a director and choreographer and part of his post wrote: 'Let's make it rain!'

'I'm super, super excited to take it around,' he said. 'It's pretty much all about me, everything I love.'

He has starred in shows including The Boy From Oz and Les Miserables and at the time joked that he'll buy any husbands in the audience, bought to the show by their partners, a drink.

'I'm sure there will be a few husbands dragged along. And I'll buy them all a beer after the show,' he said.

Hugh this month was announced as a new ambassador for the airline Qantas.

In a promotional video he explained his involvement and said: 'The other thing I really love about Qantas is the role it plays in the community.'

'A lot of the work that Qantas does is behind the scenes. It's really inspiring to see an Australian company stand up for causes that make a difference.'
