Beyoncé lends vocals to track with DJ Naughty Boy as new underwater music video is released

She's been relatively quiet on the music front since the release of her hit single 7/11.

But now it's time - Beyoncé lent her vocals to British DJ Naughty Boy for the romantic ballad Runnin' (Lose It All) which dropped on Thursday, also featuring Aaron Benjamin.

Although Queen Bey, 34, isn't seen in the video herself, her emotional prowess sets the tone for a romantic love story between a man and woman, who are seen sprinting underwater before their passionate exchange.

The video begins with the soft sounds of a piano and is set in a tropical blue ocean, showing a man sinking deeper as he clasps his arms over his legs.

Similarly, a blonde woman is seen in the same position as the sunlight glares through the waters, catching a glimpse of her floating tresses.

As he submerges deeper into the abyss, the man is seen opening his arms and beginning to stretch out his legs as he prepares to sprint, awakening his lover to do the same despite their distance.

Beyonce's voice echoes in the background: 'Where else can I go? Chasing you, Memories turn to dust, please don't bury us. I got you.'

As the pace picks up with Yonce's chorus, the duo begins darting even faster before Aaron Benjamin's verse offers another soothing effect.

While the woman tries to connect with her underwater beau, she faces difficulty descending which causes him to spring alongside the ocean floor in order to catch up with her.

The duo finally embraces as the lyrics seem to offer the message that success is nothing without those that we love around us.

With the video coming to a symbolic close, Beyoncé continues to belt out: 'Together we'll win it all, I ain't runnin', runnin', runnin', runnin' We'll face it all, If I lose myself, I lose it all.'

Taking to Twitter, Aaron Benjamin also couldn't hide his excitement over his contribution: 'Honored to be on this new track 'Runnin' (Lose It All) ft.@Beyonce @NaughtyBoyMusic#LoseItAll #Grateful #LiveVYnl.'

The inspiring track will be featured on Naughty Boy's second studio album, nearly two years after his first album Hotel Cabana received praise for his track La La La featuring Sam Smith.

In March, it was confirmed that Naughty Boy had also worked with former One Direction band member Zayn Malik for one of the tracks of his second album.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé made no mention of her latest collaboration on social media, perhaps considering that she is still on a European vacation with her hubby Jay-Z and their daughter Blue Ivy.
