Demi Lovato explored her edgier side at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Friday.

The 23-year-old was a total showstopper from the time she posed on the carpet until the end of her explosive set.

The star kicked off the night in head-to-toe punk inspired look before stripping down to a bodysuit that would make Beyonce jealous.

Her red carpet look consisted of a low-cut grey mini with studs on the waistline and she completed the effect with three no-fuss buns atop her head, as well as a pair of sexy black heels.

The pop star ensured her make-up was true to form as well, with smoky eye shadow and long full lashes aiding in the look.

She kept the remainder of her face neutral, letting just a flawless finish of foundation and light pink blush coat her complexion.

Demi has been embracing soaring new levels of self-esteem.

In a behind-the-scenes video for her latest Skechers campaign, Demi discussed her healthier new outlook: 'I have been working on myself for the past year and, part of that journey was working out and eating healthy and really a full lifestyle change.'

'I really channelled the direction and the vision that I had into what I wanted, into this project,' Demi added, noting that as a result, the music was going to be 'very different.'

Speaking about her new album Confident, which hits shelves next month, she told Clara Amfo on BBC Radio 1: 'It's a little too late to turn back from sharing and pouring my heart out to the whole world.

Discussing her positive and healthy new outlook on life, she went on: 'I have worked on myself and I look HOT, so I'm going to work it.

'I'm going to show the world that you can go from having an eating disorder and hating your body to wearing underwear on the cover of a magazine and love it. You know, it's possible,' she continued

Demi's new album, Confident, drops October 16.
