With eighteen years of marriage under their belt, they're one of Hollywood's biggest power couples.

And Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith proved they're still going strong as he wished his leading lady a happy 44th birthday via Twitter on Friday, sharing a darling throwback photo alongside a sweet message.

In the vintage snap, a young and fresh-faced Jada is seated on top of a wooden porch while resting her hands near Will's beaming face.

Hacking into his wife's Twitter account, Will wrote a lengthy tribute: 'This was taken at your mom's house 20 years ago. That's a long time ago!!! So I decided to do some math...'

'I have sung happy birthday to you 20 times and I have bought you 19 birthday presents (I was mad that one year). I have watched you blow out 693 candles (737 after tonite).'

Will concluded: 'I've told you "I love you" at least 8,285 times. And of the nearly 3.96 Billion women on the planet - there is only 1 that I want to spend the rest of my life with. Happy Birthday, my Love!'

This day is clearly nostalgic for both, considering the couple met first in 1995 when the Gotham actress auditioned for the role of Will's girlfriend on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Although she didn't get the part, their love still continued to blossom before trying the knot in 1997 in a secret New Year's Eve ceremony at Baltimore's Cloisters Mansion.

Meanwhile, Will wasn't the only member of the family to bombard Jada's Instagram account to mark the momentous occasion, considering she also received a message from her daughter Willow, 14.

In the cuddled snap, her mini-me is seen looking up at the camera while enjoying the warm embrace of her mother's arms.

Jada, who was make-up free and smiling in the au natural portrait, was treated to a similar loving message: 'Hacking you, because it's your birthday. Happy birthday Mom.'

Jada, seeming to not want to miss out on the fun, took to Twitter with her own inspirational words to commemorate this next chapter of her life.

Posting an old snap of her as a young child, she is seen wearing a blue corduroy dress with sailboats, also sporting a full head of curly locks.

She wrote: 'Everything we want is on the other side of endurance. This world is a beautiful place and we are part of that beauty.'

'Let every day be a day of birth as we travel closer to the beauty within which gets us closer to the beauty without. You are magnificent! Be the light that you are. J.'

On Sunday, the long-standing couple was seen putting on a very public display of affection while waiting for the valet at an upscale restaurant Nobu which is located in Malibu.

The 5ft starlet was seen wrapping her arms around her 6foot2in beau and giving him a big squeeze, which further denied continuous reports that the couple was headed for divorce.

In August, Will personally slammed the rumors once and for all: 'Under normal circumstances, I don't usually respond to foolishness. (Because it's contagious) But, so many people have extended me their "deepest condolences" that I figured - "What the hell... I can be foolish, too!"

'So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness... Jada and I are...NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

Earlier this summer Jada hinted that the couple have an open marriage marriage during a chat with shock jock Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show.

'Here's the deal with that, Howard, you've got to trust who you're with,' Jada said. 'And at the end of the day, I'm not here to be anybody's watcher.

'I'm not his watcher. He's a grown man. Here's what I trust - I trust that the man that Will is, is the man of integrity. So, he's got all the freedom in the world. As long as Will can look himself in the mirror and be okay, I'm good.'

When asked if her famous husband would tell her if he was attracted to another woman, Jada insisted: 'Absolutely, you have to in this business, because I’m going to know anyway.'

Will described his union with Jada as a 'marriage business plan' during a previous sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey.

'If you don't have a goal or purpose for your relationship... if you don't have a place that you're going... (things) that you want to accomplish, that you want to do, you can really get lost in the murk of the journey.

'So why are we together? I mean, you fine! But as an answer for why two spirits would join together and decide to travel this life together... there's so much more that you have to be dedicated to together.'

While Jada's next acting venture has yet to be announced since her portrayal as Rome in Magic Mike XXL, Will has been busy promoting his highly-anticipated film Concussion.

The two-time Oscar nominee will next portray Dr. Bennet Omalu, the forensic neuropathologist who made the first discovery of CTE, a football-related brain trauma.

In the trailer, it shows how his progress was shunned by many overseers due to the controversial nature of the injury itself and liabilities that it would cause.

Additionally, Will has five films ahead which range until 2019, including his reprized role as Detective Mike Lowrey alongside Martin Lawrence in Bad Boy 3 and Bad Boy 4.
