And Christina Hendricks looked ready to party as she arrived at the Variety and Women In Film Annual Emmy Nominee Celebration in West Hollywood on Friday night.

The 40-year-old Mad Men actress, who is up for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series at Sunday night's ceremony, looked demure in a stunning, 1950s style black dress.

Christina led the arrivals at the star-studded party as she showed off her incredible curves in the flattering dress, which boasted 3/4 length sleeves and a calf-skimming hem. 

The stunner, who is nominated for her portrayal as Joan Holloway in Mad Men, wore her trademark red locks in loose waves over her shoulders in a centre parting. 

Christina was representing the 1960s period drama, which is nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, at the event where she wore dramatic make-up with a bright pink lip and heavily outlined eye.

The acclaimed actress was busy on Friday night as she also appeared at The Television Industry Advocacy Awards Gala.

Christina opted not to change her ensemble for the quick turn around as she headed to the event, also in West Hollywood. 

The glamorous gala was held to benefit The Creative Coalition, a nonprofit organisation formed by members of the American entertainment industry.

The statuesque beauty is up for Best Actress in a TV Movie/Limited Series for her turn as businesswoman Nessa Stein in the political thriller The Honourable Woman. 

Joining her was actress Neicy Nash who looked gorgeous in a black gown with an embroidered overlay as she celebrated her awards nod for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as DiDi Ortley in Getting On.
