It seems that Andrew John may like relationships shaken, not stirred.

The Australian rugby legend has struck up a relationship with 007 star Daniel Craig's former fiancée, Satsuki Mitchell, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

The 41-year-old Newcastle Knights player reportedly met his new flame, a Hollywood producer, in Los Angeles earlier this year, after splitting with wife, Catherine Mahoney.

Andrew, who suffers from bipolar, was named Immortal number 008 by Australia's Rugby Week Magazine, a title which, in some way, makes him the perfect follow-up partner for a former 007 Bond girl.

While the talented sportsman has remained as tight-lipped about the details of his new relationships, his rugby mates have admitted they have coined a new nick name for their ball-kicking buddy: '008'

'We have been having a bit of fun with it,' one pal quipped, adding: 'He takes it all in his stride.'

In May this year, Andrew and Satsuki spent some quality time together at the State Of Origin opener.

According to The Daily Telegraph, a close friend of the rugby king revealed that John is a 'new man' since he began dating Satsuki. 

It was also reported that, since meeting her, Andrew has stopped drinking alcohol and has never looked better.
