Michael Fassbender pulses with energy and furious rage alongside Kate Winslet in the latest emotional trailer for Danny Boyle's Steve Jobs biopic

He was the genius who was fired by his own board and then dramatically re-hired to save Apple.

And in the latest trailer for the Steve Jobs biopic, starring Michael Fassbender as the technology icon, fans are given a glimpse at the fire that drove the man nearly to destruction... and then into world history.

The new teaser released on Thursday shows Fassbender in various crucial stages of Jobs' life - both personal and business - and shows the actor looking almost identical to the father of the iMac in both personality and physicality.

After leading on Jobs' complex relationship with his first daughter in the first teaser, released in August, the latest sneak-peak at Danny Boyle's soul-baring film shows the Apple founder's fiery personality.

Focusing instantly on the drive that fuelled the father of the iPod, the trailer opens with Fassbender asking: 'What if the computer was a beautiful object?

'Something you want to look at and have in your home? And what if, instead of being in the right hands it was in everyone's hands?'

Showing snippets of the Reed College drop-out's stratospheric and sometimes counter-productive rise to the top, both Jeff Daniels and Kate Winslet can be seen in their supporting roles.

Oscar-winner Kate plays Joanna Hoffman, Apple's original head of Macintosh marketing Joanna Hoffman, while Dumb And Dumber star Daniels plays legendary business man John Sculley.

Picking out snippets of key-set pieces from Jobs' roller-coaster life, the trailer shows Danny Boyle's attention to the very nature and character of the tech-innovator, rather than the myths surrounding his life.

From Jobs' legendary pitch to tear Sculley away from Pepsi Cola to head-up Apple's surge to the top of the stock market, to his complex and difficult struggle to accept father-hood, the trailer gives a spine-tingling look at Boyle's emotive film.

Seth Rogan is also introduced as Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak, while Inerrant Vice's Katherine Waterston is also seen playing Job's long-suffering Chrisann Brennan.

Moving fast through the triumphs and low-points of his life, the trailer features everything from Jobs' dramatic sacking at an Apple board-meeting through to his now legendary unveiling of the first iMac.

'You're issuing contradictory instructions, you're insubordinate,' says Daniels just before he ousts Fassbender's difficult genius.

But Boyle's epic biopic doesn't only focus on the Steve Jobs who founded Apple and NeXT, the glossy film also focuses on the Californian-natives complex relationship with his first daughter, Lisa.

Showing Joanna (Winslet) Criticising Jobs (Fassbender) over for not being there for his child first child - he also had Erin, Eve and Reed with his wife Laurene Powell - before showing their touching reunion.

'What you make isn't supposed to be the best part of you,' she tells him. 'You're a father, that's what's supposed to be the best part of you.'

And although amongst the tension there is a tender moment where Jobs teaches the young Lisa how to use one of his early computers, but the clip also reveals the darker start to their relationship.

'Your Apple stock's worth $441million, while your daughter and her mother are on welfare,' says Jobs’ shouts Waterston as Brennan.

'She’s not my daughter!' an enraged Jobs screams back.

Ending on the triumphant unveiling of the iMac, Boyle's film certainly appears to be a roller-coaster ride that will pull no punches.

However the Trainspotting director - whose film is due to hit cinemas in October and November - isn't the first director to take on the complex story of Apple's god-like genius.

In 2013 Ashton Kutcher tried his hand at playing the computer wizard in Jobs, but the film received a luke-warm response.

Boyle's star-studded film, however, promises much more and will premiere at the New York Film Festival on October 3, 2015.

And while it goes on general release the following week in the US, it won't reach UK cinemas until November 13.
