She announced on Thursday that she had split from her husband Geoffrey Edelsten – the fourth time since the pair tied the knot in June.

And Gabi Grecko appears to be serious this time around, posting a series of shots of herself settling back into her New York lifestyle to Instagram.

The controversial star made sure to show her ex-husband what he was missing out on, showing off her physique in a flurry of raunchy underwear-clad shots after touching down in The Big Apple on Thursday.

One shot shows Gabi wearing a red lace push up bra as she shows off her ample cleavage, pairing the racy number with a super short pink frill skirt.

Tugging on the skirt suggestively to reveal her underwear, Gabi exposes her taut midriff as she holds her phone up to the mirror to take the shot.

'Off to school,' she captioned the image.

A subsequent shot shows Gabi posing with her arms outstretched over her head in a blue body con dress that hugs her curves while her breasts spill over the top of the form fitting garb.

'Off to lunch,' she wrote next to the sultry photo, possibly trying to hint to Geoffrey that she is keeping busy post breakup.

Sharing yet another shot with her 31,000 followers, Gabi poses almost in the nude, wearing just a jacket over her shoulders as she lies on her back.

Her breasts are exposed but covered partially by her chocolate brown locks.

It appears the Maxim model wants to make sure her ex partner knew that she was serious about moving back to New York.

On her safe arrival 'home' Gabi shared an image of her front door.

'Shoes off please,' a sign on her apartment door read. 'Gigi Vamp,' was also plastered across the timber, making reference to Gabi's alias.

Once inside her apartment the controversial figure also posted a quick snap of her interior decor, possibly in a bid to show the public that her split with Geoffrey is serious.

On Thursday Gabi announced her split from the successful businessman.

'Going back to live in New York Permanently #byebyegeoffy,' Gabi posted on social media alongside a stock image of the popular American city.

She soon reassured her Instagram followers that she would be 'much happier' returning to the busy city.

'NYC is home, there's a million fish in the sea,' she wrote to a fan who expressed their sympathy for the pair's break up.

The Daily Mail Australia have contacted Gabi for comment.

Moments after announcing the news of her relocation without her 72-year-old husband, Gabi uploaded another image of herself sitting comfortably in a plane seat onto Instagram.

The image cut out the cover girl's face and figure and only showed off her colourful nail polish as she rested her hand peacefully on a fur jacket in her lap.

Her on-off again husband Geoffrey told the Daily Mail on Thursday that Gabi boarded the flight because she still 'hasn't been able to get over the book, the threesomes and all of that.'

'She watched the show [Celebrity Apprentice] yesterday and it brought it all back. It was a book that was published five years ago, for God's sake.

'I know it talks about threesomes and me losing my virginity, but that was way before her time,' he said.

Despite the constant breaking up and getting back together, he said 'It's hard work but she's worth it.'

The couple's split comes a day after the controversial fashionista was 'fired' from the new series of Celebrity Apprentice for not contributing ideas to the girl team.

Precisely 32 minutes later, Geoffrey was seen threading the diamond ring back onto her finger in a cringe worthy Instagram clip that ended with the former medic kissing her hand.

'Hardest fight we've ever had today on camera ...thought we were past reconciliation,' Gabi penned beside the six second clip.

While appearing on the Kyle and Jackie O radio show moments later Geoffrey said 'Gabi was upset because in one of the contents of the containers was my book from five years ago, which she hates.'

The book contains information about threesomes, past girlfriends and how he lost his virginity.

One month later Gabi again walked away from Geoffrey labelling him as 'controlling'.

'I'm still with Geoff but I just need to be able to be more independent I feel trapped sometimes as I used to be fully independent in NYC,' she said.

'That's why we've fought today but he's going to let me have more independence, I actually don't like relying on others even though people seem to think that.'

She went on: 'I had a job in NYC. He says I don't need a job here but it makes me feel controlled.'
