'You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig,' Blake explains to Mr Mark Bouris, appearing to be referencing to his arch rival.

A shocked Richard is seen shooting a fierce look back to Blake, as he is uncharacteristically lost for words and raising his eyebrows in disbelief at Blake's derogatory comment.

Fellow contestant, former Miss Universe Australia, Tegan Martin looks equally shocked, her mouth dropping open upon hearing the rude remark.

Not one to let someone rain on his parade, the outspoken gossip reporter then took the opportunity to tell Mr Bouris that he thinks Blake has it in for him.

'He's out to get me,' he rebutted, as Blake is seen laughing the accusation off.

‘I don’t believe you had your hands full of anything, besides your ego,’ Richard furiously tells Blake in the teaser clip

'He's out to get me': Richard was then seen shooting a fierce look back to Blake in response

The pair's rivalry began during the first episode on Wednesday after Blake – a former topless waiter – refused to remove his shirt for the male team's first challenge, letting Richard down as he had secured a magazine deal on the proviso Blake took his top off.

However Blake refused, saying that he didn't want to upset his partner, Louise Pillidge.

The muscular hunk was set a task to sell long stemmed red roses and his teammate Richard put him forward to go topless in an aim to boost sales.

Richard was instead forced to strip off alongside retired NRL star Matt Cooper.

Back in the boardroom, Richard picked a fight with Blake demanding to know why he hadn't removed his shirt.

'It was discussed that the shirts would come off, Matt's and The Bachelor's,' Richard roared.

'I want people to see I'm more than just a guy who hands out roses,' Blake said defensively, adding: 'I promised my beautiful partner not this time.'

Enemies: Blake is then seen shifting blame for the team losing the challenge onto Richard, saying that he ‘Severely under performed in this task'

Blake went on: 'I didn't think it was necessary to get the deal over the line...

'I felt I could close the deal without that happening. I made a promise to my partner that I wouldn't, especially not in the first episode.

'If that's the case I could have slept with the whole office [magazine] but there are certain things I won't do. If I thought I would lose that deal then maybe I would have [removed his shirt].'

Meanwhile, Richard revealed to TV Week magazine on Monday that he's not the biggest fan of Blake, even describing the controversial personality as 'slimy' and the 'biggest pretender on Earth.'

'Blake messed with the wrong Queen, Blake underestimated me - he thinks he's so smooth but you know what? He's slimy,' Richard told the publication.

The gossip guru didn't hold back on expressing his feelings for the reality star, making his animosity towards him known.

'He wanted to throw me in the gutter like he did to that poor girl on The Bachelor,' Richard expressed of the notorious love rat.

While, Blake attempted to downplay the drama, saying that Richard is on the show to 'stir things up'.
