After an online romance Angharad Lovering, 38, from South Wales, flew to the Caribbean for a three-week holiday to meet Loric Bullock, then 19, (pictured together centre) and says she knew it was 'meant to be' when she came back pregnant. Her new lover then proposed by text and despite having only met him once she accepted. In October 2013 she gave birth to their baby boy, Tyrese (top right) - with a doctor holding her hand and Loric 5,000 miles away on the end of the phone. It was not until March 2014, when Tyrese was five months old, that Loric got his visa thanks to her £3,000 loan and could fly to the UK to meet his son for the first time - and his fiancé for the second - before marrying in the May (left). The couple now live together in Cardiff with their son, now one, and Angharad's daughter from a previous relationship, Daisy, 15 (together bottom right).

Officers were attempting to stop the cars but MacGowan claims the drivers were taking no notice and took matters into his owns by standing in the middle of the street. He took out his keys and made a 35cm scratch along the bodywork of a Mercedes C63 AMG (file image, inset) belonging to Sukh Singh, a court heard. He pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal damage and given a six-month conditional discharge.

The Bay City Rollers were a Scottish pop band whose popularity was highest in the mid 1970s. The British Hit Singles & Albums noted that they were "tartan teen sensations from Edinburgh", and were "the first of many acts heralded as the 'Biggest Group since The Beatles' and one of the most screamed-at teeny-bopper acts of the 1970s". For a relatively brief but fervent period (nicknamed "Rollermania"), they were worldwide teen idols. The group's line-up featured numerous changes over the years, but the classic line-up during its heyday included guitarists Eric Faulkner and Stuart John Wood, singer Les McKeown, bassist Alan Longmuir, and drummer Derek Longmuir.

She decided to have a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery, undergoing the process in July. DuringMiss Wood decided to photograph herself and write a frank blog about recovering from the operation, which includes how she was unable to get her new breasts wet and had to wear cling film (she is pictured, top and bottom centre, showing drains attached after the surgery). Now, she is setting up a business making bags to hold the drains needed after the operation (pictured left). She also wants to encourage others with the gene to have preventative surgery. She said: 'Being told you have the BRCA1 gene is terrifying, but it doesn't have to be the end of the world. I prefer my boobs now, they're pert and symmetrical - they're amazing.'
