A furry friend! Scott Eastwood shares a snap of his newly adopted Labrador puppy named Freddy

He's caught the attention of many with his bright blue eyes and bulging biceps.

But it appears someone else has captured Scott Eastwood's heart according to his latest Twitter post on Thursday, showing him embracing his newly adopted white Labrador Retriever.

The 29-year-old actor wrote: 'Well.....we caved. Freddy is the newest member of the family. Damn puppies make me happy.....I mean really happy.'

Scott also added a series of revealing hash tags which let fans know how raising his new pooch has gone thus far, reading: '#littlebuddy #puppiesmakemehappy #whitelab #clumsy #poopingeverywhere #cutenessoverload #wolfbait #unclescotty.'

In the snap, the famous son of Clint Eastwood, 85, looks dapper in a plaid butt on down as he holds tight to his newest doe-eyed addition while seated outside on a porch. 

Taken in the late evening, his honey blonde locks were gelled to the side and he even gave his 855k Instagram followers a slight peek at his hairy chest.

He's proven to be a dog lover, considering his last snap taken months ago where he was petting a random pooch on the streets of Toronto, reading: 'So flipping cute. #couldn'thelpmyself.'

The Longest Ride star has been garnering plenty of extra attention as of late, considering his recent portrayal of Robert Kingsley in Taylor Swift's steamy Wildest Dreams video.

Scott was cast as Taylor's movie co-star and love interest, whom ultimately breaks her heart after it's revealed their connection was him only pretending for the rolling cameras.

Scott took to Instagram to share his feelings on the experience: 'What an amazing time working with @taylorswift Not only is she a rockstar. But someone I am proud to call a friend. She is a great person and those are hard to find in your life. When you do.... Hold tight.'

Taylor, who has been dating British DJ Calvin Harris, locked lips with Scott several times in the safari-set video which has received over 61m views on YouTube since its release.

Having begun his successful career as an up-and-coming model, the star turned to acting after graduating from Loyola Marymount with a degree in Communications. 

Since then, he has created a name for himself in the entertainment industry by starring in Texas Chainsaw 3D, Trouble With the Curve alongside his notable father, as well as in Chicago P.D.

Meanwhile, Scott just completed two films slated for release this year, including his portrayal as Mitch Davis in the drama Mercury and as Jackson in the action/thriller Diablo.

In the latter, the Teen Choice Award winner acts alongside Camilla Belle, in the story about a young civil war veteran who is forced on a desperate journey to save his kidnapped wife.

Aside from Scott's mostly under wraps flick Overdrive, he also has two projects in post-production, Snowden starring Joseph-Gordon Levitt and Divergent's Shailene Woodley as well as the highly-anticipated film Suicide Squad.

Snowden is based on true events, about the former CIA employee Edward Snowden who releases thousands of classified documents to the press.

On the other hand, Suicide Squad also features a plethora of Hollywood heavy-hitters such as Will Smith, Ben Affleck, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie and model-turned-actress Cara DeLevigne.

Scott took to Instagram weeks ago with a pick of him being sandwiched by the film's tennis-clad beauties, captioned: 'Thanks ladies for making us boys drink tequila while golfing today and for wearing those amazing uniforms. @margotrobbie your the ring leader. I love it!!!!'
