Even after seven years of marriage, Olivia Newton-John and John Easterling are as doe-eyed as ever.

The loved up couple couldn't keep their hands off each other as they happily posed for photographs on Saturday at Olivia's cancer charity gala event in Melbourne.

The pair posed for the cameras with their arms wrapped around each other but at one point the Grease actress leaned in even closer, affectionately pressing herself against John's cheek.

The 66-year-old singer, songwriter and actress looked streamlined in a mostly all black ensemble as she cuddled up to her beau on the red carpet.

Wearing a pair of edgy black leather pants, Olivia wore a sheer brown patterned kimono-style jacket over the top of the ensemble.

The Xanadu star looked fresh faced at the star studded soiree, sporting a natural makeup look consisting of a light powdering of foundation and a slick of rose coloured lipstick.

Meanwhile, John looked smart in a black suite and black and white checked shirt which he teamed with a classic black bow tie.

The couple were joined on the red carpet by media personality Deborah Hutton and Channel Nine Entertainment Reporter Richard Wilkins.

The Veronica's Lisa Origliasso and Jess Origliasso also courted attention during the photo opportunity, flashing a healthy dose of skin as well as some body ink.

The twin sisters wore contrasting black and white gowns with Lisa opting for a dark sparkling two piece which showed off her taut midriff.

Meanwhile, Jess wore a floor-length satin dress featuring a sweetheart neckline, which she accessorised with a gold statement choker and a matching clutch.

The charity gala was a sold out event, boasting entertainment from superstar performers including The Veronica's, Harrison Craig, Barry Gibb and Olivia herself.

The Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre provides leading medical treatment and wellness care and support for cancer patients and their families at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne.

Olivia is passionate about the cause, having gone through her own battle with breast cancer in 1992 and losing her father to liver cancer in the same year.

Olivia and John married in 2008 in a secret ceremony on a Peruvian mountaintop, dressed in traditional Incan garb.

John is founder and chairman of natural health firm Amazon Herb Company and goes by the nickname Amazon John.
