She's known for her dramatic, ethereal performances.

And for Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine, her set in Manchester on Friday evening was no different, as she wowed the heaving crowd at the MCR Arena.

The singer-songwriter and impressive performer dazzled her fans as she belted out her hits, old and new, in front of her adoring fans while in the midst of her current world tour, which goes on until next year.

The boho star wore a flowing silk shirt in a flattering shade of pale terracotta to almost match her flame-red hair, complete with 1970s-effect oversized sleeves to draw attention to her arms as she danced.

Keeping the retro vibe alive, she teamed her silky blouse with a pair of white flared trousers, and little else.

The 29-year-old star - who has been a playlist favourite of music fans since her debut album Lungs was released in 2009 - wore her famous bright red locks loose and curly, giving her the ability to flick them around in theatrical fashion as she got into the music.

Her set included the band's biggest hits, including Dog Days Are Over, Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up) and Shake It Out, as well as new track How Big How Blue How Beautiful.

And she really looked to have moved on past the injury that left her unable to perform properly earlier this year, after breaking her foot during an energetic gig at the Coachella Festival in America in April.

The foot injury aside, though, it's been an exciting time for the star, who is taking her tour across the world, playing in venues far and wide in Australia, New Zealand, America, Germany and elsewhere.

As well as festival gigs and the start of the band's How Big tour this September, has released an epic new music video for two tracks from bestselling album How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful.

Astunning new short film for LP tracks Queen of Peace and Long & Lost puts the two songs back to back as the Florence and the Machine singer and the windswept Scottish landscape take centre stage in the haunting visuals.

The ten minute video is the latest installment of Florence's Odyssey saga created with director Vincent Haycock, who also collaborated with the singer on four other videos from her 2015 album, shooting clips for St Jude, What Kind of Man and Ship to Wreck.

The film, which details a troubled love affair, comes after Florence admitted to Billboard ahead of the release of How Big How Blue How Beautiful this year, that her third album was written during a difficult time in her rollercoaster relationship with events organiser James Nesbitt.

'Without the structure of touring, you have to face your own chaos. I was playing gigs non-stop since I was 21,' she said. 'When I was left to my own devices, I realised I was f**king everything up.'
