Dino-mite! Bindi Irwin prepares for Hometown Glory routine in Tyrannosaur T-Shirt at DWTS rehearsals

It may have been a thinly-veiled jibe at just how old some of her competition is.

Or maybe Bindi Irwin just really likes dinosaurs.

The 17-year-old continued her creature t-shirt theme on Saturday as she arrived for Dancing With The Stars rehearsals in a T-Rex top.

The TV presenter and conservationist once again rocked her trusted three-quarter length black yoga pants and mustard Chucks.

All week she's been moving backwards through the conservation scale with her chosen animals, going from the plentiful giraffe, to the vulnerable African elephant, to the endangered Tasmanian devil - before landing on the extinct Tyrannosaur.

Her partner Derek Hough meanwhile, days after drawing some suspicious glances from Bindi's mum Terri for flaunting his shirtless abs around her teenage daughter, decided to cover up in a pair of jeans, trainers and a form fitting blue T-shirt.

But all those extra layers seemed to be taking their toll, as he nipped out to Walgreens to grab a big bottle of cold water.

Fresh from their scoreboard topping performance in week one, Bindi and Derek are currently working on two dances for Hometown Glory week.

They must each choose a song that commemorates their hometown and the place that shaped who they are today.

As the only celeb not born in North America, Bindi - who was born in Buderim, Queensland Australia - may have an outstanding edge over her rivals.

The first couple to be eliminated from the competition will walk on Monday night, followed by a second couple on Tuesday night.

The second night will be dedicated to the professionals' hometowns and promises to be more varied; only five of the pros hail from the US, with the remainder coming from as far afield as Albania, Ukraine, Soviet Union, Australia, Netherlands, England, and  South Africa.

Competition: Also working on their 'hometown glory' routines on Saturday were Bindi and Derek's closest rivals New Yorker Nick Carter and Aussie Sharna Burgess
