Stuck in Groundhog Day? Andie MacDowell, 57, steps out in Beverly Hills looking barely a day older than she did in the 1993 comedy

In the film Groundhog Day she plays a woman trapped alongside Bill Murray in a never-ending loop of the same day.

And 22 years on, Andie MacDowell looks like she could be still stuck there.

The 57-year-old stepped out in Beverly Hills on Friday looking as fit and fresh-faced as she did in the 1993 comedy.

But she told People in July that under no circumstance was she to be considered a 'cougar' - despite the 19 year age gap.

'I find it offensive,' she said. 'There's this notion that as men get older they become more handsome, so therefore they can have younger women, but there is no reality to that obviously – it's just another way to disempower women.'
