Never let it be said that Elizabeth Hurley doesn't put in a strong effort when it comes to her eveningwear.

And even though it was a more casual affair for the actress as she stepped out on Saturday evening, she still looked as flawlessly-clad as usual.

The 50-year-old star headed out in London along with her The Royals co-star Jake Maskall as they enjoyed a laid-back night of entertainment.

All black everything: Elizabeth Hurley stuck to her time-honoured simple yet sexy style as she stepped out on a fun date night with her The Royals co-star Jake Maskall in London on Saturday evening

She looked impeccable and characteristically sexy as she flashed her lovely legs in a tiny black dress with a sheer panel skimming across her tanned thighs.

The British actress kept the rest of the LBD covered up with a tight-fitting quilted black leather jacket, done up to just below her chest to reveal a glimpse of her cleavage, but it was easy to see it had a low-cut neckline.

Her biker-chic look was finished with a pair of desirable strappy black platform heels, allowing her to just about tower over her handsome colleague.

Close pals: The actress and her colleague linked arms as they walked through the dark streets, having forced a close friendship while working on the E! drama

Glamorous: Elizabeth wore her brunette and gold-tinted locks in elegant large ringlets, while finishing off her lovely evening look with a pair of towering strappy heels

Liz's brunette and golden-tinted locks were worn in large ringlets, an elegant style that was perhaps slightly at odds with her edgier appearance.

Jake, 44, looked dapper in his nighttime attire, working a classic combination of a poloneck jumper, slim-fitting trousers and a velvet blazer.

The Royals stars appeared close as they strutted the streets of London together, beginning their evening with a dinner at Scott's in Mayfair, and then heading to a hotel, where they stayed for a short while.

Liz and Jake then took themselves to the Bloomsbury Lanes, perhaps to partake in some bowling, giving their working date-night a fun element.

They walked through the dark streets of the British capital arm-in-arm, proving that months of working together on their hit drama has forged a close relationship.

And, just a few weeks ago, the saucy star set tongues wagging as she shared a selfie on her Instagram of the two of them together during filming for the E!, herself putting on a very busty display as he sweetly smiled at the camera.

Giving her handsome fellow cast member a saucy side-glance, the Austin Powers star - who portrays the Queen of a fictional monarchy in the show - showed off her assets in a very low-cut corset.

Alongside the Instagram snap, she wrote: 'Ooh la la, fun & games on set today #TheRoyals @theroyalsone @jakemaskall.' (sic)

They have been busy in recent weeks working on the upcoming second season of the show, which sees Liz in the role of Queen Helena, the matriarch of the Henstridge royal family, and Jake as Prince Cyrus.
