Anderson's in Vogue! Madonna copies Taylor and brings surprise celebrity guest on stage... but goes for the slightly less glamorous CNN anchor
Taylor Swift has famously brought celebrity guests onstage during every leg of her current 1989 World Tour.
And now it seems Madonna is following her lead for her Rebel Heart Tour, as she has been surprising fans with a few famous friends of her own.
On Saturday the 57-year-old brought CNN anchor Anderson Cooper onstage as she made a stop in Brooklyn, New York for her tour.

Popular: Madonna showed off some of her famous friends at Saturday's show, with the star even pulling CNN anchor Anderson Cooper onstage to dance with her
Madonna wore a skintight, revealing black number for the performance, which was draped in chains of crystals, along with a coordinating pair of gloves.
Her long blonde tresses were pinned back, with a few wisps of curled hair falling down to frame her face.
She wore shimmery, gold eye shadow, and added a pop of color to her look with a bright, red lipstick.
Following her lead: Taylor Swift - pictured at a London 1989 show with pals (L to R) Martha Hunt, Kendall Jenner, Serena Williams, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, and Cara Delevingne - brings out her famous friends to surprise concertgoers at every leg of her tour
Gang: At her first New York show for the Rebel Heart Tour, Madonna brought comedian Amy Schumer out to dance and cheekily slapped the star's bottom
Showing off her moves: Then it was Amy's turn to flaunt her skills, as she twerked for Madonna
Her guest, Anderson, was dressed more casually, sporting a fitted, black, short-sleeved T-shirt, coupled with a pair of dark wash jeans.
The TV personality also wore a pair of thick-framed black glasses, and seemed to be in good spirits as he joined the Queen of Pop onstage.
Madonna took to Twitter after the concert to thank Anderson for joining her onstage, joking: 'Anderson thanks for being my B***h tonight!!! Hope you enjoyed the Banana‼️‼️‼️[heart emoji] U!!! [heart emoji] #rebelhearttour.'
On good terms: Though he didn't join her onstage, Madonna's ex-husband, Oscar winner Sean Penn, was spotted smiling as he enjoyed her performance on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden
Sassy: Madonna hinted at her celeb crew following the concert on Saturday, as she took to Twitter to share a photo while commenting: 'B***h are you in my Gang?'
Eye-catching: One of Madonna's daring outfits for the night consisted of a tiny black dress covered in dangling chains of crystals
Kelly Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos were also guests of honor for the pop star's wild performance on Saturday.
And she made headlines earlier in the week after a particularly cheeky performance during Wednesday's show in which she brought comedian Amy Schumer onstage and slapped her bottom.
Also, though he did not come onstage, Madonna's famous ex-husband Sean Penn was spotted smiling as he enjoyed her Madison Square Garden concert on Thursday.
Elaborate: The Queen of Pop filled the rest of her concert with a collection of unforgettable ensembles, such as this detailed, matador-inspired look
Putting in the leg work: The mother-of-four flaunted her toned pins in fishnet stockings and thigh-high boots while showing off her moves alongside buff backup dancers
Demure: The songstress later covered up for a more demure look in a button down and studded, black jacket
It seems she's following Taylor's lead by showing off her famous friends at her concerts, especially after - following Saturday's show - she tweeted: 'B***h are you in my Gang? [heart emoji] #rebelheartour.'
For the rest of the show Madonna tore through a collection of daring and memorable ensembles while performing her hits for the crowd at Barclays Center.
The Material Girl Hitmaker showed off an elaborately decorated matador-inspired look, as she sashayed alongside backup dancers in similar attire.
Slowing it down: The hitmaker seemed to balance her wild, dance numbers with a few slower songs as well
Monochromatic: Madonna showed off her rock star style sporting mostly risque, black ensembles throughout the show
Can't be tamed: Of course Madonna later tore off the button down to reveal a plunging, lacy, sheer tank top
She showed off her toned pins in a skintight, black leotard, paired with fishnet stockings and thigh-high boots in another number.
The mother-of-four also kept it more demure in a plaid button down underneath a studded black jacket, and went patriotic with a long, American flag cape.
Madonna will next continue her Rebel Heart Tour at the Centre Videotron in Quebec City on September 21.
