She's landed the part of Lois Lane’s younger sister Lucy in CBS' upcoming Supergirl series.

But Jenna Dewan, who is married to her Step Up co-star Channing Tatum, was busy playing supermum as she enjoyed a day out with their two-year-old daughter Everly on Friday.

The pair spent some time at The Coop indoor playground in Studio City, California, before the 34-year-old actress treated her little one to pizza and a lollipop.

Jenna went make-up free for their fun-filled day out and when it came to her outfit, chose practicality over fashion.

The American Horror Story star opted for a loose-fitting denim jumpsuit which she paired with tan leather slides and a matching cross-body bag.

She wore her brunette tresses in a messy bob and held on tight to their takeaway pizza as they headed home after their energetic outing.

She may be married to one of the hottest actors in Hollywood, Channing Tatum, and starring in a hit TV show herself. But Jenna Dewan Tatum is a mom first and she sported a relaxed outfit on a recent outing with her daughter, Everly.

The Step Up star wore a loose fitting jumpsuit, slide sandals and a Tory Burch bag. The crossbody, which featured the American designer's signature logo, added a luxe finish to the dancer's casual ensemble.

Little Everly looked adorable in a graphic tee which she wore with navy shorts and, bizarrely, green wellington boots.

She looked pleased as punch as she mosied along with a lolly in one hand and a stuffed toy in the other.

Earlier this week Jenna, who has worked as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Missy Elliott and Pink, told People magazine that while she and Everly read 'four hundred [books] a night', her precious little girl is a dancer in the making.

'Everly loves a good dance party,' the actress explained.

Channing and Jenna met while shooting their 2006 film, Step Up. The couple began dating shortly after filming and were married in 2009.

While promoting Step Up shortly before its release Jenna sat down with About.com Entertainment and discussed her feelings on co-star, Tatum.

'He’s such a good dancer on his own,' she said. 'He really has so much natural talent.'
