Sarah Jessica Parker poses for selfies as she enjoys baseball game with husband Matthew Broderick and their son James

Sarah Jessica Parker put her love of fashion to one side on Sunday as she joined her husband Matthew Broderick and son James at a baseball game.

The 50-year-old star looked younger than her years as she whipped out her phone to take a few snaps at the match held in New York City.

Wearing a simple long-sleeved jumper and denim jeans, Sarah still looked utterly stylish as she soaked up the atmosphere with her close family beside her.

Meanwhile, Sarah's son James, 12, showed his support in a New York Mets T-shirt, giggling as he joined his famous parents at the game.

He bore a striking resemblance to his fashionable mum as he wore his strawberry blonde hair in a swept back style.

The mother-of-three kept her light blonde tresses loose for the day and sported a sophisticated smoky eye to complement her casual attire.

The day before her fun at the baseball game Sarah visited Bloomingdale's in New York to celebrate the launch of her own designer shoe collection with the store entitled SJP Collection.

SJP was joined at the event by chief executive office of Manolo Blahnik George Malkemus III, with whom she collaborated on the collection.

After being presented with numerous opportunities to design shoe collections SJP revealed that she finally decided to create one after taking the plunge and calling George to see if he would be interested in working together.

During an interview with the magazine Sarah said she's against those who leave negative comments on her photos and has been known to comment back, admitting that her ability to be direct came with age.

She said: 'I will say, "I'm sorry, I'm really disappointed," or "Why do you follow me if you find me so objectionable?"

'I don't want people to mistake my kindness for naivete,' she said. 'I am no idiot, is what I am saying.'
