Red hot at 53! Make-up free Marcia Cross proves she's no Desperate Housewife while looking flawless on shopping trip

Marcia Cross looked radiant as she was spotted out and about while shopping in Venice Beach on Sunday.

Dressed head-to-toe in black pants, top and beige hat, the red-headed beauty likely keeps her youthful appearance by limiting her sun exposure.

The makeup-free Marcia carried an over-sized tan leather bag and looked in good spirits.

The Desperate Housewives actress kept concealed with a wide brim hat while leaving her rose-colored hair down in soft, natural waves.

Cross revealed her fashion style in an interview last year at the Marc Cain Fashion Week Berlin Spring/Summer 2015 show.

'I've really only been to a few fashion shows in my life,' Cross confessed.

Her fashion choices have to feel comfortable as she expressed, 'That's an important part of getting dressed, I have to want to wear it.'

Despite her age, Marcia has to stay energetic to keep up with her fraternal twin daughters, 8-year-olds Eden and Savannah.

Cross gave birth to the twins via in vitro fertilization soon after her marriage to stockbroker, Tom Mahoney in 2006. 

The Emmy Award nominee was put on bed rest for most of her pregnancy due to 'precautionary measures,' as reported by People.

'I am absolutely, 100 percent fine,' she told Extra. 'But it's hard to carry around all that weight.'

'I wake up feeling like me and then I step on the ground and I'm like, "Whose body is that walking to the bathroom?"
