During the last season of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, Kyle and Kim Richard's relationship disintegrated before millions of views.

The warring siblings came to blows over concerns Kim - who suffers from addiction issues - was falling off the wagon.

But on Saturday the pair were pictured together for the first time in months - as Kyle took Kim out for dinner in Beverly Hills to celebrate her sister's 51st birthday.

Earlier in the day Kyle took to Instagram to wish Kim a happy birthday, sharing a throwback snap and writing: 'Happy birthday @kimrichards11 May all your birthday wishes come true love you.'

While mother-of-four Kyle, 46, is currently filming the new season of RHOBH, Kim has been axed from the Bravo reality series.

It follows a troubling time for the former child star, in a year that has been punctuated by - among other things - a drunken arrest in a Beverly Hills hotel plus a stint in rehab.

Most recently Kim was reported to be trying to get hold of the anti-anxiety drug Xanax, according to TMZ on Monday.

The star allegedly visited one smoke shop in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles three times during the past week in an effort to get some pills, the website claimed.

The former Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star also agreed a plea deal with prosecutors following her April 16 arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Monday.

The deal offered b y the LA County District Attorney stipulated she serve three years probation, take 52 AA classes, complete 30 days of community labor and stay 100 yards away from the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Her attorney has asked for Kim to get community service instead of labor at an August 31 hearing at which Richards was not present.

Richards had claimed a foot injury made it impossible for her to do the more manual labor such as graffiti removal or freeway trash pickup.

She has been seeking treatment for substance abuse issues since her arrest that followed a drunken altercation with hotel staff and police officers.

The reality TV star was taken to jail and cited with public intoxication, trespassing, resisting arrest, and battery on a police officer.

Richards first checked herself into rehab following an intervention by Dr. Phil in late April during which she admitted to drinking and taking prescription painkillers.

However, she checked herself out of the facility in order to attend her daughter Brooke Brinson's destination wedding in Mexico.

Then, after falling off the wagon at the wedding, Kim went back into a different rehab facility to continue working on her sobriety.

On August 2, Richards was arrested for allegedly shoplifting close to $600 from a Target store in Los Angeles. She spent the night in jail before posting a $5,000 bail, according to People magazine.

She was axed from the Bravo reality show as a result of her legal and addiction woes but her younger sister Kyle continues to be a part of the cast and is currently filming the new season of the series.

Earlier on Saturday, Kyle attended the 4th Annual Red Carpet Safety Awareness Event held at Skirtball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, California.

The Bravolebrity was joined by her daughter Portia Umansky, but the other girls Alexia, Farrah, and Sophia appeared to be absent.
