If you're on the end of a left from Wladimir Klitschko, it usually means you are in serious trouble.

But for his 9-month-old daughter Kaya, that massive left paw was the safest place in the world on Sunday.

The 39-year-old heavyweight champion was once again on daddy duty while fiancee Hayden Panettiere was busy filming her hit show, Nashville.

Daddy duty: Wladimir Klitschko took daughter Kaya for a dip in the ocean in Miami on Sunday

The tot looked like a doll in the 6' 6" behemoth's arms as he cradled her while striding through the calm Miami waters.

Wearing just long blue surf trunks, the boxer showed off the flawless physique that has earned him 64 wins out of 67 professional fights.

And despite the vast majority of Dr Steelhammer's victories coming by way of knockout, he as always proved he is a gentle giant when around his child, softly dipping her in and out of the warm waters while she took it all in her stride.

The last time the daddy and daughter were pictured here in April, they were both taking a pounding from waves several feet high - photos that surely made her Heroes star mom a little pale.

On both occasions Hayden was filming her country and western show, which is currently five episodes into its fourth season.

Wladimir meanwhile is set to surpass boxing legend Joe Louis for the most heavyweight title fights of all time, with them both currently tied on 27.

He will become the outright record holder on October 24 when he defends his title against Britain and Ireland's Tyson Fury, in Düsseldorf Germany.
