Parenting is a walk in the park! Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel take cute son Axl for an afternoon play date

Proud parents Fergie and Josh Duhamel were spotted enjoying a family day at a park in Brentwood with their son Axl on Sunday.

The close-knit family took in the LA sunshine spending time together and Axl's parents watched on as their two-year-old played.

Fergie, 40, has been busy lately working on her upcoming album and enjoyed the time off with her family.

The Grammy Award-winner and her 42-year-old husband kept it casual and cool as they braved the scorching LA heat.

Dressed in Daisy Dukes, a vintage Iron Maiden tee and black wide brimmed hat, the Black Eyed Peas singer kept her rocker edge.

Fergie also wore a black fedora, matching boots and large sunglasses, and left her long, blonde wavy hair down.

Duhamel looked a bit more laid back in black gym shorts with sandals and purple Vikings sports tee.

It has been more than eight years since Fergie has released an album but she has been busy lately working on a new record, according to Billboard.

Fergie admits it took her a long time to get back into shape after becoming a mother, only springing into action when she realised she was missing the feel good factor from working out.

The fun-loving Black Eyed Peas singer exclusively told MailOnline, 'I was lazy with cardio after having the baby – but, in the end, I actually missed a good sweat. I feel great after a work-out and, eventually, I craved it.'

Duhamel and Fergie met in 2004 after she appeared on Duhamel's show in Las Vegas with her band The Black Eyed Peas.

The couple wed in 2009 in Malibu and Fergie birth to their son four years later in 2013.

Their son Axl celebrated his second birthday last month.
