She got upset in a recent solitary moment.

But Loose Women co-host Sherrie Hewson continued her emotional turmoil on camera in Sunday's episode of Celebrity Big Brother.

The blonde star, 65, blubbed on camera in the Diary Room while wearing her pyjamas, admitting that she was feeling lost.

The media personality indulged in some much-needed personal time, telling Big Brother that she felt lost amid all the big egos.

Sobbing into the lens, she said: '‘Last night affected me very badly. I think the tension was so high anyway so we were all very jittery and very worried and mentally it messes with you. I am not very good ant this obviously.

'I promised myself I wouldn't do this - cry on live television. I always think it makes people look weak. And I'm not weak. But there's something about this house - it's very, very stressful.'

Looking tired and disheveled, she certainly appeared to be missing her daughter and friends.

Later on, during a task which saw the contestants receive letters from home, she cried again when her girl told her how proud she was.

'I'm the proudest daughtyer in the world. You're the mum of the house and everyone feels the same. You stay strong and dignified like the woman you are. I love you.

The scenes, which will no doubt pull on the heart-strings of her fellow TV presenters, come less than a day after she first broke down.

Sat alone in the kitchen, she audibly said to herself; 'What have I done? This was a mistake. This was such a stupid mistake. I'm not strong enough for this.'

And, as she tried to hide her face from the cameras, she could be seen wiping away tears of both sadness and frustration.

Ironically, that out-burst came she was saved from the public vote by Natasha Hamilton.

But it also coincided with more abusive behaviour from from the likes of Austin, Farrah and Jenna , who've been continually causing upset.

This incident - the first sign that Sherrie was struggling - will no doubt surprise fans, who have so far seen here quite serene in the stressful environment.

Although, that said, there have been signs: during the most recent task she pleaded with Bobby Davro not to goad Jenna and Farrah into another slanging match. Not long after she was also heard telling James that their living situation was 'madness'.

And she certainly has a point. In the hours that preceded her meltdown she was forced to witness Janice defend herself against more bullying.

While taking part in a task, called ‘The End is Nigh’, Team UK and Team US were given a selection of hypothetical end of the world scenarios.

They were told to discuss each scenario amongst their fellow team members and then choose which of their opposing team members best fit each situation. The teams then had to guess the other team’s answers.

During the task, Janice kept telling Team UK the answers, which led to Jenna and Austin getting impatient with her and excluding her from the task, shouting: 'Shut the f*** up!!'.

Naturally, the hideous Farrah also joined in, telling Janice that she wasn't welcome on their team and that she was 'a turncoat'. Together, they also made fun of her age.

Annoying: Irritants Stevi and Chloe-Jasmine were delighted to have been saved by the public vote

At one point, Austin even used a cushion to block Janice - which caused her to erupt and claim that their behaviour was 'disgusting'.

'That's it! You have absolutely no respect. The way you speak to people is disgusting. You are all shallow, brittle bullies'.

Following that - once Farrah was evicted - Jenna and Austin then turned on James. They lambasted him for his decision to save Janice, merely proving their bullying tendencies.

Fortunately, it wasn't all bad as Stevi and Chloe-Jasmine were delighted to have been saved by the public vote.

And, in the close they'll get to a happy ending, Jenna soon upped her tactics for Team America by using her sexuality to placate James and her other British tenants.
