Is there anything more frustrating than having to get half undressed at the airport security line?

Kourtney Kardashian needed a little help as she had to remove her shoes to be screened at LAX on Sunday, while also trying to carry her youngest son, Reign - who turns one in December.

The 36-year-old reality television star enlisted the assistance of a nearby helpful gent to take off her black sneakers.

She's been coming to terms with her heartbreak since splitting with her long-term partner and father of her three children, Scott Disick, this summer.

The diminutive eldest of the Kardashian siblings is reportedly taking a break to a retreat, after suffering in the stress of the break-up - said to be caused by Scott's excessive partying.

She appeared to only have nine-month-old Reign with her, checking in without Mason, five, and three-year-old Penelope.

Something's afoot: The 36-year-old reality television star enlisted a helpful fellow traveller to take off her black sneakers, as she struggled to cope by herself

The 5ft tall star kept it low-key with her glossy locks worn loose and carefree and minimal make-up bar a little bronzer on her cheekbones.

Her comfortable outfit of black leggings and a baggy grey long-sleeved t-shirt was given a rockier edge with a leather biker jacket and patterned scarf.

She covered her eyes with jet-black glasses as she arrived at the airport, but also had to remove those and her jacket to be put through the X-Ray machine.

The KUWTK star held on to Reign's stroller as she was careful not to lose her balance while her shoes came off.

Her strawberry blonde tot may well have the Kardashian's sense of style - but certainly doesn't share their exotic colouring.

He was cutely turned out in a mini-denim jacket with black leather detail which complemented his mum's cover-up, and black trousers not too dissimilar to her own transit styling.

Layers: She brightened up her simple outfit with a patterned scarf

Kourtney has noticeably lost weight since becoming a single parent, and has barely raised a smile when seen out and about in public recently.

A source told Us Weekly that Kourtney and Scott are 'amicable for their kids but Kourtney is officially done.'

She apparently has no interest in a reconciliation, despite them having been through break-ups and got back together in the past.

The brunette beauty apparently is taking it one day at a time in moving on, with a source telling the magazine: 'It’s hard for her, but she’s moving in the right direction.'

Scott, meanwhile, was seen leaving a West Hollywood hang out with a mystery woman in tow on Wednesday night.
