West Ham defender James Collins is facing another spell on the sidelines after being carried off on a stretcher with a knee injury in the first half of last night's reserve match at Portsmouth.

Meanwhile Craig Bellamy made his comeback after nearly three months out with an abdominal injury when he played 87 minutes for the reserves in their 1-0 victory at Portsmouth last night.

The Wales striker made an impact as his cross was turned into his own net by Jean Francois Christophe.
