His Holiness Pope Francis will visit Philadelphia tomorrow. While we are happy for the Pope’s visit, it gives me no pleasure to say that the Holy Father Has no idea of the grave injustice done in his name against the poor of both Philadelphia PA and the neighboring city of Camden NJ – whose governments have displaced 2,500+ homeless people. The authorities in Camden NJ has closed all streets and avenues in the city center and turned Camden into largest and most expensive parking lot in history, charging for a parking permit 40.00 and up to 50.00 dollars a day while in Philadelphia. Some 2,500 displaced homeless are being denied necessary services such as food, water and shelter, as they are being forced out of the city. I doubt that the Holy Father knows what is happening, and ask for your prayers and support.
