Feeling all white! Mad Men star Jon Hamm steps out in shorts and T-shirt after a late night celebrating his first Emmy win

He has finally won an Emmy after losing out for seven years in a row.

So it is understandable Jon Hamm was feeling all white when he stepped out in Los Angeles on Monday.

The Mad Men star was walking with a spring in his step as he enjoyed a spot of fresh air, after a late night of celebrating following his thrilling victory.

The nervous star stumbled as he made his way to the stage, where he extended his gratitude towards a woman named 'Jen.'

In addition to his ex-girlfriend, the star extended his gratitude towards their dog Cora and his sisters.

Jolly Jon said: 'It's incredible and impossible for me personally to be standing here, so I want to thank the people to whom I owe an incredible debt, people who in my life have gotten me here, families who have chosen for some reason to take me in and be nice to me along this strange, strange road.

'So to Bud and Susie, and Mary Anne and Ted, and Ernie and Caroline, and Rick and Linda, and Gary and Sue, and my sisters Cora and Jen, thank you all very much, I would not be standing here without you. Thank you to everyone who watched the show, and thank you for this.'

The canny actor also made sure he thanked his Mad Men co-stars and the show's writers as he accepted the Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series award.

While Jon has been nominated for eight consecutive years for Mad Men, he has also been up for an Emmy three times as a Guest Actor in 30 Rock.
