Mauricio Pochettino is backing Harry Kane to end his barren goalscoring run against Arsenal in Wednesday's Capital One Cup tie at White Hart Lane.
Kane, who netted 21 times in the Barclays Premier League last season, has yet to find the target in a Spurs shirt this term.
He scored twice for England in their Euro 2016 qualifiers against San Marino and Switzerland earlier this month, but has not scored in seven appearances for Pochettino’s team this season.

The Spurs manager, preparing for the third round tie with their north London rivals, said: ‘I think it’s coming. I have no concern. I am very happy with him. I am sure the goal is coming.
‘The players who play tomorrow I have no doubt will do their best for the team. You need to show respect for your squad. When you sign a player it’s for all competitions. We have quality players to play in every competition.
‘All our games are important. Every competition is our priority. We want to stay in all competitions. We want to win tomorrow.’
Pochettino also admitted he has huge admiration for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger after completing 19 seasons at the club. The Tottenham chief added: ‘I always praise a lot to him because I think he’s a great manager. I admire him.

‘He’s in charge for 18 or 19 years and that’s because he has real talent. It’s not easy to stay at a club for a long time like this.’
Wenger, meanwhile, is set to name an experienced side for the crunch clash against their rivals - despite often using the League Cup as an opportunity to blood his talented youngsters.
The tournament is at the bottom of Wenger's list of trophy priorities but the Gunners manager knows the consequences of losing to their deadly rivals in the competition.
'It’s always good to win. Every single game that you play with Arsenal you want to win, especially this one which is a bit more special because it’s always a big meaning. At the moment we want to get back into winning habits and that’s why the momentum is even more important for us,' Wenger said.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will be hoping his side can put their controversial defeat by Chelsea behind them at White Hart Lane
'They had a slow start but since then they have had two good wins, one against Sunderland and one against Crystal Palace, so that will have boosted their confidence. It makes you think it will be a very even game tomorrow.'
Olivier Giroud, who lost his place to Theo Walcott for last weekend's controversial defeat by Chelsea, is set to lead the line for Arsenal at White Hart Lane. David Ospina, Mathieu Debuchy, Calum Chambers, Mikel Arteta and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are also set to feature.
When asked if he will field any youngsters, Wenger replied: 'Alex Iwobi, and maybe Glen Kamara. I want to keep the squad together. We go game by game so I will make changes, for sure. How many? I’ve not decided yet. It will be quite an experienced squad with one or two younger players.
'They are in and out a little bit because we travel a lot. They are doing well. Alex Iwobi is an offensive player and Glen Kamara is more a defensive player. I don’t know yet if he will be involved tomorrow but we will see.'
Meanwhile, Jack Wilshere, who will miss Wednesday's clash through injury, took to Instagram to post an image of himself and his partner. He captioned the post: 'When nothing seems to be going your way , it's important to have people around you that love you.....but more importantly, the one you love'.
