'It's the old Jerry Maguire thing': Mila Kunis makes Ashton Kutcher 'complete', says Two And A Half Men co-star Jon Cryer

Ashton Kutcher has been tamed by wife Mila Kunis just like Tom Cruise met his match in Renee Zellwegger in the hit movie Jerry Maguire.

At least according to Two And A Half Men star Jon Cryer, 50, who says the pair were meant to be together.

'They really complete each other. It's the old Jerry Maguire thing,' he told Us Weekly.

'It's a total cliche but in their case it just happens to be true,' he added.

'She really grounds him. He's always got something cooking but he loves coming back to her, coming home to her.'

In the 1996 film, Cruise plays a sports agent focused on making money who, after he's fired from his high profile position, leans on a single mother played by Zellwegger for support.

After she leaves him because he's taking her for granted, he ultimately realizes that he's nothing without her and wins her back with the legendary line: 'You complete me.'

Kutcher and Kunis began dating in April 2012, and became engaged in February 2014.

Their family life was completed with the arrival of daughter Wyatt in October 2014.

Cryer told Us that his former co-star has embraced fatherhood with gusto. 

'As far as I can tell, he spends most of his time thinking about it,' the actor and comedian said. 'He's clearly made for it.'

In his memoir So That Happened, published earlier this year, the former Pretty in Pink star revealed he had previously dated Demi Moore, who went on to wed Kutcher. 

The pair starred together in the 1984 film No Small Affair.

'How do I tell Ashton she and I dated when he was seven?' he recalled on Live! With Kelly And Michael during an interview in April. 

After Kutcher was approached to replace Charlie Sheen in Two And A Half Men, Cryer said he spent the whole time on tenterhooks waiting for the bomb to drop.

But he needn't have worried. 

'At the end he said, 'She told me'. He was cool about it,' he said.

Kutcher and Moore split In November 2011 after six years together and finalized their divorce in November 2013.

The Butterfly Effect star exchanged vows with Kunis over the July 4 weekend this year.
