Allison Williams made heads turn as she was walked down the aisle alongside her father during her wedding to longtime boyfriend Ricky Van Veen.

The Girls actress looked stunning in a handmade couture Oscar de la Renta gown as her father donned a black suit and red-and-white tie.

The family seems to be starting a new chapter, as Brian Williams, who was embroiled in controversy over false reporting earlier this year, will return to air for the Pope’s visit this week.

As Brian gave Allison away at the altar his daughter was met by her husband-to-be, who was donning a suit similar to his future father-in-law.

Williams, 27, and Van Veen, 34, wed on Saturday afternoon surrounded by 'close friends and family at a ranch out West'.

In the early hours of Sunday the newlywed shared a stunning picture of her special day, which was simply captioned: '9.19.15'.

The American starlet looked incredible in the snap, as she smiled while walking down a country lane hand-in-hand with her beau.

Williams, who stars in hit comedy drama Girls, and CollegeHumor co-founder Van Veen have been dating for three years, and announced their engagement in February 2014.

It is understood the star-studded ceremony and reception was held at the sprawling 15-acre Bush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming, where guests stay in wood cabins and enjoy horseback rides.

Approximately 150 to 200 guests attended the ceremony, according to USA Today.  

Katy Perry was at the event, which was an outdoor fete, alongside John Mayer. The couple looked cozy as they held hands and smiled during the ceremony.

A source told PEOPLE that the couple arrived in separate jets but that they 'looked happy'. The source told the magazine that the pair, who split earlier this year, are 'definitely back together'.

Allison Williams is the first celebrity bride to wear a bridal gown handmade by Oscar de la Renta's creative director Peter Copping.

Copping took the helm of the British fashion house in October 2014, a week before Oscar de la Renta himself died of cancer.

The namesake designer had been a favorite on the star-studded wedding market, creating a gown for Amal Clooney, among others.

Perry and Mayer reportedly stepped out for a double date with Willams and Van Veen in January.  

Perry also appeared to sing a song during the ceremony. She was pictured holding a microphone near where the couple exchanged vows. It is unknown what the pop star sang.  

Tom Hanks - husband of Rita Wilson, who plays Williams' mother in HBO's Girls - officiated.

Details of the nuptials were kept secret from the guests, who flew into Denver before being transported to the secluded resort.

Clad in immaculate white lace, Williams is the first celebrity bride to receive a wedding gown hand-made by Oscar de la Renta creative director Peter Copping.

The dress featured a long train and beading across the shoulders and down the sleeves of the dress. Williams wore a long white veil that dropped from the back of her head.   

The couple postponed their wedding this February as Williams' father Brian was taken off the air due to a false reporting controversy. Now, as the former Nightly News anchor prepares to return to air for the Pope's visit.

According to Us Weekly, Williams and Van Veen wed in an intimate ceremony in front of a group of close family and friends. 

But with their dual backgrounds in the entertainment industry, their guest list read like a who's who of some of Hollywood and music's most stellar talent.

Bruce Springsteen, Diane von Furstenberg and Barry Diller, were all thought to be in attendance.

Allison's Girls castmates Lena Dunham, Zosia Mamet and Jemima Kirke were also there to see her happy day.

Also attending were Seth Meyers and his wife Alexi Ashe, Bee Shaffer and Andy Cohen.

The festivities kicked off on Thursday, and a rehearsal dinner took place on Friday. The wedding ceremony was on Saturday.

A source told PageSix before the ceremony: 'The wedding is being kept so secret that guests are being asked to fly to Denver, where they will be picked up and taken to the location, which is thought to be somewhere in Wyoming.'

'The accommodations for all guests are being paid for and then many of the guests are flying to LA together for Sunday’s Emmys.'

The pair met three years ago and announced their engagement in February.

They kept their engagement secret as Alison's father, NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams, was facing a backlash for embellishing news stories.

He later apologized and for making false claims regarding an assignment in Iraq.
