And on Sunday it looked as though Chris Brown was trying to get his daughter, Royalty, to catch the basketball bug early on, as she watched him play in the Power 106 All-Star game in Los Angeles.

Hitting the court at the Galen Centre, the 26-year-old singer brought his little girl on court to share some precious moments with him before the celebrity match he was starring in got underway.

But while the Don't Judge Me hit-maker clearly had his eyes on scoring some baskets in the up-coming game, his 16-month-old daughter Royalty couldn't help but steal her father's attention.

Bringing the adorable toddler - who he shares with Ni Amey - onto the court, the committed father-of-one lavished attention on his sweet little girl.

Dressed in similar sports attire to her father, Chris was perhaps hoping that getting Royalty her own basketball threads would help to encourage her to love the sport.

The winning team? Warming up and throwing some hoops before the arena filled up, Chris could be seen enjoying himself on court

It seemed, however, that Royalty only had eyes for her doting father, and didn't quite seem to realise her chart-topping dad was about to compete as one of the star players for his Homeboys team.

Chris meanwhile looked delighted to have his daughter court-side and watching him play.

Donning his white Homeboys uniform, consisting of a basketball shirt and shorts, the Kiss Kiss star flaunted his extensive array of body art.

But while the keen basketball fan was focused on beating opposing celeb team, the Ballers, his most cherished moment of the day came alongside his daughter.

Snapping a myriad of photos with the cute little girl, Chris uploaded a series of loving and tender moments the father and daughter shared from throughout the day.

The pair's relationship hasn't always been so idyllic however, as Nia's ex-boyfriend King Ba was raising baby Royalty as his own child until a DNA test - when she was eight-months old - revealed Chris was her biological father.

In August, Nia filed legal papers in an attempt to block Chris from spending time alone with their daughter, saying he is irresponsible and has substance abuse issues.

However earlier this month, the judge ordered the pair to share 50/50 custody of Royalty, and the little girl will now move between them every four days.

Royalty watched her father compete alongside the likes of Nelly, Tyga and Diplo in the annual Power 106 All-star match.

And while there were more than enough famous faces on the court to count, Chris's most recent collaborator, Rita Ora, couldn't resist stealing some of the lime-light for herself as she attended the match.

Turning up to the match in a black and white cheerleaders outfit the Body On Me singer certainly appeared to draw attention to herself, before sitting down to watch the Homeboys battle it out against the Ballers.
