Missing Mitzi! Heart-broken Tori Spelling takes to social media to ask followers help find her beloved pooch

Tori Spelling has been through so much turmoil these past few years but on Thursday she announced her latest heart break.

The 42-year-old took to social media to ask her more than 1 million Twitter and Instagram followers to help find her precious pooch, Mitzi. 

The 6lb white and tan terrier mix went missing on Tuesday in Calabasas and the former Beverly Hills 90210 star is devastated.

Mitzi, which is a Hebrew girl's name meaning 'small' went missing and the mother of four spread the word to plead for help from the community.

'Pls HELP... Our Family Dog MITZI has gone missing! Spread the word. She disappeared 9/15 from Calabasas,Ca,' Spelling posted.

'Has collar on but WRONG info. Needs Medication! No questions asked. Pls return. REWARD. Email at mitzimissing@gmail.com.'

The star continued, 'She is microchipped thru @muchloveanimalrescue She is 6lb long haired terrier mix all white with brown markings on face. Friendly! Will bark but won't bite! Pls hashtag #MitziMissing.' 

The blonde beauty is known for being an animal lover and in addition to her dogs has adopted several rescue animals including a pig, chicken, and goat.

However Tori might take this loss especially hard considering the close bond her and her furry friend shared.

In 2012 Spelling announced on her ToriSpelling.com blog that she would star in the ABC Family Christmas musical Mistle-Tones.

However what excited Tori most about the project was her 'very own Mitzi' would make her on-screen debut as her dog Vixen.

The ABC Family musical, which co-starred Tia Mowry follows a woman who decides to create her own Christmas singing group when she is turned down for a spot in legendary group The Snow Belles by the mean spirited Marci, played by Spelling.
