He went viral after grooving to Taylor Swift's hit single, Shake It Off.

And now Dylan Barnes has even captured the attention of the singer herself, who appeared ecstatic to be bonding with the young Midwestern boy on Monday.

'Finally got to meet Dylan, the 7-year-old who passionately danced to Shake it Off on @TheEllenShow-- and this happened,' the 25-year-old tweeted along with a clip of the two dancing to her acclaimed track.

In the video, TSwift is showing off her taut tummy in a red crop top and skinny jeans.

She's barefoot while shaking it off with her new friend, who's clad in a turquoise shirt and shorts.

The pair are dancing on a carpet between two couches and in front of a large television set.

Celebrity: Dylan has become a big deal at his school in Missouri

Kansas-native Dylan had appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to discuss his viral video, in which he freestyle dances to Shake It Off.

Ellen kindly gifted him tickets to her 1989 tour, saying she hoped he would have the opportunity to go 'backstage to meet Taylor.'

Taylor is currently in Kansas City, where she performed on Monday and will again on Tuesday.

And it appears Dylan surely got more than what he had expected, judging from the Bad Blood hitmaker's video.

'Thank you @taylorswift13 for making #persianbigred dreams come true! You are a class act! #shakeitoff #TaylorSwift,' Mojdeh Barnes, Dylan's mom, wrote on Twitter, thanking the super star for her over-the-top efforts.

Things continue to go extremely well for Taylor who championed in four out of the ten categories she was nominated in at the MTV Video Music Awards last month.

And the girlfriend of DJ Calvin Harris looks set to expand her silverware collection even further after receiving a record-breaking nine MTV Europe Music Awards nominations in the list which was announced on Tuesday.

The Bad Blood singer's global smash hit, in collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, is up for three accolades - Best Song, Best Video and newly-introduced category Best Collaboration.

And she has been nominated in every possible additional category.
